in ActionAs a competitively priced, guaranteed-for-life UL policy, TransACE is a perfect fit for a variety of legacy and estate planning strategies. Contact your Transamerica General Agent for our Program Highlights & Fact Finder, or Producer Guide on any of the strategies below.

Bypass Trust Planning. This strategy allows a couple to maximize the assets they can leave to their loved ones.

Estate Planning for Blended Families. A traditional estate plan is designed to benefit the surviving spouse and minimize estate taxes. However, it doesn’t take into account the needs of children from a previous marriage, who may not receive an inheritance until the death of the new spouse—who might be closer to the children’s ages. A TransACE policy on the spouse with children from a previous marriage can provide an effective strategy for addressing this problem by providing a source of assets for the children, while preserving the original estate for the surviving spouse and/or new family.

Special Needs Trust Planning. This tool enables clients to take better care of a disabled loved one beyond merely leaving an inheritance, which can often disqualify the person with special needs from federal needs-based assistance. Special Needs Trust planning ensures that trust assets provide benefits

to supplement the disabled beneficiary’s care while keeping other sources of support intact.

Charitable Legacy Planning. It’s a common misconcep-tion that one needs to be wealthy to leave money to a charitable cause. A charitable person can leave behind a generous legacy, and possibly benefit from an estate tax deduction, by purchasing a TransACE policy and naming their favorite charity as the beneficiary.

Business Succession Planning. An untimely death, retirement, or impairment of a partner or key employee can have a significant impact on the future of a business. Business succession planning is crucial to securing an orderly transfer of company interests to desired parties under specified, controlled circumstances.

A Winning LineupTransACE® continues to offer a strong set of prod-uct features to clients. But we’ve enhanced existing features in the old policy and added new ones to make it an even more competitive product.

Time Is on Their Side. We understand the challenges that sometimes arise in making premium payments exactly on time every time. That’s why TransACE’s “shadow account” allows a full policy-month win-dow to pay premiums. If premiums are a few days late, they are applied to the Policy Threshold as though they were received on time. With this feature, keeping the guarantees on track is easier than ever.

A Commitment for Excellence. To create the new, competitive TransACE, we’ve brought back the Re-quired Annual Premium (RAP) commitment design, which still includes the Premium Qualification Cred-it—a 2% guaranteed bonus that is added each year to the client’s accumulation value during the five-year premium commitment if the RAP is paid before the year-end anniversary. First-year compensation is pay-able on first-year premiums paid up to the lower of the RAP commitment or the maximum target.

The Power of Reputation. Clients know the impor-tance of a strong, reliable company standing behind their life insurance policy. With TransACE, you bring the strength and reputation of the Transamerica brand, along with a first-rate product, to the table.

One Product. Several Premium Options. There is tremendous value in having a choice of premium structures within a single product. Whether strategies require a lump-sum payment, a short-pay arrange-ment, or a lifetime, level-pay plan, TransACE gives you a policy with the flexibility to help meet the cli-ent’s objective.

Return of Premium (ROP) Option. The Plus-Premium Option on TransACE gives you a better tool to help the client meet legacy and estate planning needs. At death, beneficiaries receive the face amount plus the premiums paid.
