Representation Information needs to be presented in multiple ways in order to provide options for perception, labeling, and comprehension Example: kids can learn about recycling in an auditory way through a song like this 3. Expression Information should be learned through different modes provides students options with physical action, options for expressing themselves especially with new media, and options to start executive functions like setting goals. 4. Engagement Getting students engaged is tough, but keeping them engaged is even harder.
