Research on the stability of damaged ships
An important research field carried out at DINAV is the safeguard of the human life and the protection of the marine evironment. Within this context the problem of the buoyancy and stability of the damaged ship is studied and analyzed in order to foresee the survival of the ship in case of damage and the risks for the environment.
