Our delegates are: Mike Mulder, Dan Ohden, Jer Slagter, and Pastor Steve. Pray for the leading of God's Spirit in this Kingdom endeavor. A Bob Dykstra Trip...Thurs. - Sun., Oct. 3-6. CMCS High School Retreat - Sept. 20-22 the CMCS high school students have the opportunity to spend a weekend at Lake Geneva Christian Center near Alexandria. How can you help? First, pray that each one attending may experience a nearness to God. May He have His will. Second, Snacks, Snacks, Snacks. Kids come with appetites. If you can help – please bring goodies to the CMCS office by September 20. Would you be able to help financially? Costs keep going up and they are trying to keep it affordable to students. In addition to lodging, they have travel and speaker expenses. Financial gifts may also be brought to the CMCS or Unity church offices. Any checks please write them out to Unity High School Retreat. Thank you in advance for your participation. MARK YOUR CALENDARS for the annual COTP Telethon on Friday September 20th. COTP and CMCS are partnering together again for this 1 day fundraiser benefitting Lagosette Christian School. Follow along on social media throughout the day to stay updated and for ways to give! We have over 80 students and 31 Mentors. If you would like to be involved in this Ministry we would appreciate if you would be willing to make cookies. Please sign the sheet in the back of church with your telephone number and we will contact you. Thank you! In His service, The Friendship Board Cadets season is upon us. All boys from second through eighth are invited and encouraged to join in a time of spiritual, social, and skills growth. It is the mission of Cadets to come alongside these covenant youth and help them to grow more Christlike in all areas of life. Cadets will kick off our season on September 18 by first meeting in the First CRC Fellowship Hall at 6:15 and then proceeding to CMCS to take part in the Food For Kidz packaging event. We will be studying the DVD series Jeremiah: Daring to Hope in an Unstable World by Melissa Spoelstra. Booklets will be available to purchase for $10.

TODAY, September 15, Teacher’s Inc., a men’s trio, will host a concert/hymn sing at the Emden CRC in Renville at 3:00p.m. Ice cream treats will follow! Everyone is welcome!

We have some great things happening this month!
TODAY we are having our BIG Fall Kick Off!
First off, our ICare Breakfast at 8:45a.m., we have every 3rd Sunday of the month!
During our worship service we will be handing out Bibles to our 2nd graders; Giada Grannes, James Brouwer,
Lily Moorlag and Marshall Knight!
Our Sunday School team will be launching our new curriculum called The Gospel Project!
All grade levels will meet after church for their first session.
Kids will be seeing new folders with new Adventure sheets to complete during the worship service! You may take
your old folders with you today after the service.
Other new exciting things coming up are Ladies Bible Study, Small Groups, Unity cookbook, new directory,
new website….so many things to look forward to!
