25 years of directing the Edward Byrne JAG Memorial grant funds for Broward County substance abuse prevention, treatment, and enforcement programs and services totaling $35million
24 years of providing a Youth Leadership Training Institute, teaching leadership skills, substance abuse education and social advocacy
17 years of providing drug epidemiological data to the community which has became the model for the state of Florida and the world.

P.E.T.I. (Planning Evaluation and Technology Improvement)
◦ Conducted the application process resulting in recommendations for 8 projects for a total amount of $468,489 for FY2014-15.

Partnership for Success (PFS)◦ Approximately 20,000 students in Broward received or
were exposed to prevention information ◦ 21 Family Day Events across Broward, where 4,088
individuals learned about the importance of having dinner together
◦ 9 Alcohol-Free Zone Events with 404 youth attending◦ 5 Sweet & Delicious to be Drug Free Events with 9,298
individuals attending & receiving information on brain health.
◦ 6 Parent Cafes attended by 765 individuals

Nutrition for Healthy Minds-WHAM◦5 organizations signed MOUs. 28 peer mentors will
receive training. 500+ individuals will receive coaching on nutrition, wellness and self-care management.
SBIRT- Screening Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment◦16 organizations signed MOUs to work on SBIRT.
These organizations received information, training and coaching. 1,000 + individuals (14-30) will benefit.

Choose Peace / Stop Violence ! 105 schools actively participate in year round in Choose
Peace activities 33 Broward County Library System Youth Divisions will
feature Choose Peace activities 9 outreach events for the community received a grant from Broward Sheriff’s foundation to benefit
After School @ Your Library program to feature anti-bias education books.
( Program funded by CSC in collaboration with the Broward County Library system)

Broward Youth Coalition (BYC)◦ Two students graduated and are enrolled in College ◦ One attended CADCA mid-year conference
◦ Implemented a College tour (30+students participated)
◦ Parent Volunteer Committee formed
