The examination will be through theory papers/practical/viva. Pass marks for the previous and finalexamination are 36% of the aggregate marks in all the theory papers and viva/practical and not less than

25% marks in the individual theory paper/viva/practical. A candidate is required to pass in the written andthe practical/viva examination separately.
Candidate will have to pass in Theory and Practical separately.
NOTE: Practical examination will be held before Theory examination.
Successful candidates will be placed in the following division on the basis of the total marks obtained in
previous and final examination taken together.
First division 60% Second division 48% and Third division 36%.

Will consist of 10 questions. Two questions from each unit will be set and students will answer onequestion from each unit. Answer of each question shall be limited upto 250 words. Each question willcarry 8 MARKS.
SECTION : C

Option to arrange a male or female model will be given if the same can be arranged. Emphasis will begiven on correct drawing, colour scheme, light and shadows.
PAPER IV - LANDSCAPE PAINTING (PRACTICAL)

Sub. work : 20 Marks
Landscape make from sight in water colour with proper handling of media and perspective. Study oflanes, hills, lakes and ground, trees with special effects of environment, light and shadows.
SUBMISSION OF PRACTICAL WORKS

Min. Marks : 10
Every candidate will submit the following work :-
1. 10 Sheets of portrait study.2. 10 Sheets of Landscape.3. 200 Sketches.
Sketch book (Portfolio) must contain more than 200 sketches, studies, lay out and drawing in addition tostudio practices.
Submission work will be submitted to the HOD Fine Arts and Painting at least fifteen days before thepractical examination. Submission work will be retained till the declaration of the results. If no claim ismade within two months after declaration of the result, the submission will be destroyed.
