Function: Identifying domestic, farm, and other different kinds of animals.

Materials:

Wall Chart in form of a book (Created with the images attached below) handout 1

Procedure:

1. The teacher is going to organize the students into small groups in order to distribute each part of “book” to each one. Each group will have a page with animals in both sides of it. They will find not pictures but the names of the animals with the aim of improving vocabulary and pronunciation.

2. Once they are finish with one page they are going to exchange it with the group that is at their right. In this way, they will be able to study the different types of animals according to their habitat, sharing with their classmates.

The Animals’ Book

Instructions:

1. Organize the students into small groups.

2. Give each group a page from the book.

3. Let your students see the pictures and the names of the animals by

exchanging the pages from the book.

4. Once they have seen all of them, ask your students details

such as the appearance and the category of their favorite

animal.

Finally, practice pronunciation with your students.

Content: Animals names, their actions, and their appereance.

Materials: Handout 2 and 3, sheets of construction paper (they should be the same

color), color pencils, glue, scissors

Seating arrangement: G

Time: 30’

Procedure:

1. Have the students sit in groups of five.

2. Give them the handout, color pencils, the 2 sheets of construction paper,

scissors, and the glue.

3. Ask them to color each animal, paste the sheet the handout in the
