Role Relationship - the way you interact with people in terms of the role you are playing
What are some of your role relationships?
Some role relationships:
role-relationship expected behaviors
family parent - child
provider, respect, sharing
brother - sister
sharing, support, friend
aunt - niece respect, support
Some role relationships:

peers boyfriend - girlfriend
love, trust, companionship
friend - friend sharing, trust
classmate - classmate respect, sharing

a. Primary relationships are with immediate family & close friends
b. There is rewards on both sides

b. You seldom see these people, unless you have to (at work or in school)
c. You do not feel especially close to them
FOUR relationship purposes
The different people we have relationships with fill different
needs within our lives. The following are 4 basic purposes
to our relationships:
