Task 4: C larifying the purpose of the work with a client or director 1. What is your company mission/objective?

Creating a promotional video that would represent the college to potential students, this will include showing off the subjects that the college offers (including clips of current students).

2. Who is your target market?

Potential students and their parents that are looking at what college they are sending their children to.

3. Who are your competitors, and how are you unique among them?

My competitors are other filmmakers that. Stuff that makes me unique from them it that I went and gathered more clips to add to the promo video.

6.What type of shot would you like to see in the promo video?

A wide range of shots including establishing shots of the outside and inside of the college and its entrance! Long and mid shots of students carrying out lessons and extra curricular activities. Close ups of students talking to the camera about their college experiences. Time lapses to condense longer shots to fit into the short promotional video and not bore or distract the audience!

7.Where would the logo be placed?

At both the beginning and the end of the promotional video to reinforce the positive message the college is trying to provide!

The shots I selected I made a note off so It would speed up the pace of my editing.
