Language points

最高级当我们要将三个或三个以上的事物进行比较时，可以用形容词或副词的最高级形式来表达。如： Lingling’s home is the closest to school. 玲玲家离学校最近。 It is the most comfortable way, but it is also the most expensive. 这是最舒适的方式，但也是最贵的。 Tony lives the farthest from school. 托尼住得离学校最远。 Of all the students in my class, Macy writes the most carefully. 在我们班所有的学生中，梅西写得最仔细。

从以上句子可以看出，形容词和副词的最高级的规则变化有两种形式，一种是在词尾加-est，另一种是在单词前面加most。请看下表：
