Estar + el participio presente• To emphasize that an action is in progress, you

may use the present progressive form. • It is formed as follows: present tense of estar +

present participle -- to be doing (something) right now.

• For –ar verbs the present participle is –ando• For –er and ir verbs the present participle is –

iendo. If the verbs end in –eer (creer leer) the present participle is –yendo.

• IOP are: le, les• IOP’s have the same

position as the dop’s.• Le and les may refer to

either males or females.• For example: ¿A Manuel?
