SOWER

Yenrs ago, when the frontier between France and Switrerland was con· stantly changing, a crafty Swiss correctly predicted the borderlinf> and built a hotel.

A guest often hau one foot in France and the oth· er in Switzerland. What happened if he left without paying the bill?

"They called the police!" you say .

Ves, but which-the French or the Swiss. Well . that depended on whether he left by the front or the back door.

Borderline living has its problems for citizens. and Christians. Some try to

live for the Saviour and self.

But our Lord wisely said, "You cannot serve two mas· ters: God and money. For you will hate one and love the other, or else the other way around."

In rogard to the Lord, you ha\'e no rights of your own. God must be the un· disputed Master of your Life.

The one who begins by dividing his heart between God and money. will end by being wholehearted for money and fainthearted for God.

Give up everything for God. but don't give God up for anything.
