Carbon Capture Systems – CCS Product Portfolio
Alstom Advanced Amine Process (AAP) & Chilled Ammonia Process (CAP)
• Solvent reacts with the CO2 in the flue gas • Raising the temperature, reverses this reaction • Same process with different Amine or Ammonia • Storage or usage of CO2 possible
Oxy-Combustion (Oxy) for CCS
• Fuel is burned in a mixture of Oxygen and re-circulated flue gas. Due to the absence of Nitrogen the resulting gas is rich in CO2.
• After water condensing and further purification CO2 is compressed and sent to storage.
• High Reliability • Adaptable to all boiler types and fuel • Retrofit is possible
