The 25th Anniversary Scholarshipappeal, which was launched in

2002 with the goal of creating a$25,000 endowed scholarship, iscomplete. Each of the 25 classes thathave celebrated their reunions duringthis campaign have had an opportuni-ty to give toward this endowed schol-arship fund. This is the first endowedscholarship created by the SOMAlumni Association. The first 25thAnniversary Endowed scholarshipwas awarded in November to RavishAmin ‘10. Alumni will continue tohave the opportunity to direct theirgift toward this endowed fund.

A financial gift of at least $25,000(which can be spread over 5 years)will establish an endowed scholar-ship. The principal is invested andthe scholarship each year is createdfrom the income generated by theendowment, so the scholarshipbecomes perpetual.
