    Mediclaim to Retired Employees:

    Retired employees are eligible under group medical policy provided they were members of group mediclaim policy before retirement. The

    retired employees are required to deposit entire premium less group discount before commencement of the policy period ie 1stApril every

    year. Retired employees with spouse and dependent children are eligible.

    Transfer and Mobility Policy (TMP)

    1) Class III employees who have completed 3 years of service in a department are eligible to shift to another department in the same

    office under job rotation.

    Class III employees who have completed 5 years of service in an office are eligible for transfer to another office in the same centre.

    Maximum 25% of the eligible employees in the office.

    2) Class III employees who have completed 10 years of service in a place are eligible to transfer to another place within a radius of 150

    kms. Maximum 25% of the eligible employees in a place.

    3)

    Request transfer can be considered only to a place where there is a vacancy and completed 3 years of service in that place. Not

    more than 2 transfers on any ground shall be allowed during the service period of an employee.

    4)

    Transfer request on the grounds of spouse joining shall be considered after completing a period of two years in the current place

    of posting, where the spouse is employed in Government / Public Sector undertaking.

    5)

    Transfer request on the grounds of major sickness of the self, spouse or dependent children shall be considered immediately.6)

    Employees transferred under TMP will get disturbance allowance of Rs.400/- p.m upto 150 kms., beyond 150 kms Rs.600/- p.m.

    Existing HRA, CCA will be protected.

    PROMOTION POLICY

    Promotion to the cadre of AO under para 13.1 (Senior Assistants/Stenographers)

    i) Senior Assistants who have put in 7 years of service in the cadre or Stenographers who have put in 12 years of service in the

    cadre.

    ii)

    Senior Assistants and Stenographers who have put in 5 years of service in the cadre and have passed the Licentiate

    Examination of the III/PGDCA.

    iii)

    Senior Assistants and Stenographers who have put in 3 years of service in the cadre and have passed the Associate

    examination of the III.iv) Senior Assistants and Stenographers who have passed Fellowship examination of III or MBA or MCA or ACA or FCII or ACWA or

    Graduate in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical or Electrical) or PGDBM or ACS.

    Promotion to the cadre of AO under para 13.2

    Graduate and Post Graduate employees with atlease 50% marks (40% for SC/ST employees) in any degree examination, employees holding

    FII,MBA,MCA, ACA,ACWA,ACS,PGDBM shall be allowed to appear for not more than occasions 4 for general and 5 for SC/St in the entire period

    of service for the competitive examination and those securing atlease 60% marks (50% for SC/ST employees) shall be considered for promotion

    to the cadre of AO. Selection shall be made on the basis of Seniority, Qualifications, Work Record, Interview and as also the marks obtained in

    the Competitive Examination.

    PENSION SCHEME

    1)

    Employees who have opted pension scheme are eligible to get the pension after putting in 10 years of service on superannuation. If

    employee dies during the service his/her wife/husband or dependent children will get family pension irrespective of service. Full

    Pension will be given to the deceased employees family upto 7 years from the date of death or 65 years of age of the decease d

    employee, whichever is earlier.

    2) Basic pension means 50% of the last 10 months average basic.

    3)

    Formula is (no of years of service + 5) X 50% of the last 10 months average Basic/33.5 years notional credit will be given to the

    employees who have completed 20 years of service.

    4)

    Pension optees can commute the pension subject to max. of one third of the eligible basic pension. For that lumpsum amount will

    be paid. After 15 years commuted pension portion will be restored.

    5) Dearness Relief (DR) will be given on the Basic Pension and will be revising every 6 months.

    6)

    Employees who are joined on or after 01.01.2004 covered under new pension scheme. Employees have to contribute 10% on Basic

    plus DA and matching contribution from the employer.

    VOLUNTARY RETIREMENT

    Employees who have completed 20 years of service and opted for pension scheme are eligible to take voluntary retirement. They will get all

    benefits including EL encashment.

    Employees who have completed 55 years of age and not opted for pension are eligible to take voluntary retirement. They will get all benefits

    including EL encashment.
