• Students explore the aspects of culture and literature pertaining to Romeo and Juliet that most interests them in order to make lasting connections.

• Project-based assessment that includes a presentation/speaking component and a writing piece—This leads to authentic writing about the choices they made in completing the project and what it meant to them rather than plagiarized examples of literary analysis.

Project Choices:

1. Make a book of Elizabethan costumes.

2.Draw a detailed blueprint of the Globe Theatre.
