UConn BloCk and Bridle’s 90th
Annual Little International
Livestock Show
Cheers to 90 Years,
keep Groovin’ and Moo’in!
Saturday, November 2nd
, 2019
Good Morning and Welcome to the 90th Annual Little International Livestock Show!
Each year, students from the Introduction to Animal Science class are given the opportunity to experience hands-on learning by
training, fitting and showing an animal species of their choice at the Little International Livestock Show, also known as Little “I”.
These students have spent many hours over the past two months working with and training their animals to make sure they are ready for the show. During their practices, the students have
gained knowledge and developed confidence in working with and handling their animals. We are proud of how far every student has come and are pleased that you could join us to see the product of
their hard work. Little “I” is hosted by the University of Connecticut Block and Bridle Club with help from the Department of Animal Science. This show would not be a success without the
help and support from the faculty and staff in Department of Animal Science and the generous donations from our sponsors.
On behalf of the UConn Block and Bridle Club, I would like to thank all of those who helped in the planning and execution of
this event in order to make it a success! Thank you all for coming, and I hope you enjoy the show!
Lauren Sands
Vice President of UConn Block & Bridle
