A holistic team approach is required to deliver lasting change of work practice
1. People: A commitment to developing and prioritise digital capabilities in Staff is
needed. (duties, training, progression, responsibilities)
2. Process, Change of work practice must be lead by each function, IT
investment is wasted unless there’s a clear functional ownership and change
agenda. Process change management is the hardest part of transformation.
Process centralisation and standardisation will be required prior to digitisation.
4. Data, UCC will need an enterprise approach to Data as a resource
in order to get real value from Digital. This will demand a level of
of centralisation and discipline which may be challenging to sustain.
Every organisation struggles which leveraging data as a resource
3. Technology, IT Services needs to focus on leading technology and
further develop its capabilities in this space, (Solutions architecture).
