Mission

• Develop student athletes who are committed to personal excellence and team success

• Provide a positive, motivational environment where preparation, practice, and hard work generate legitimate opportunities for success

• Emphasize the importance and development of fundamentals and techniques necessary for positive experiences in athletics and in life

• Create an environment where fun is as important as hard work so the student athletes enjoy football so much that they are self motivated by aspiration

Football Philosophy – Maintaining Perspective

• It’s about the kids

• This is youth football, not the NFL

• Sportsmanship is important for us to teach and model

• It’s okay to win

• Sometimes it’s okay to lose

• It’s okay to push for excellence

• EVERYONE deserves to be coached

• Wins and Losses are not the measure of “success”

Cheer Mission TYFC’s mission is to inspire our youth participants to value teamwork and good sportsmanship while maintaining a focus on academic achievement. The goal of TYFC’s cheerleading program is to balance structure and fun while training athletes in the fundamentals of the sport of cheerleading.

• No tryouts - everyone is welcome to participate and will be treated equally and

fairly • Cheerleading is a sport - we will have a lot of fun, but we will also work hard • Safety is our number one priority • Coach clinics and certifications ensure positive, knowledgeable coaching staff and

leadership • Curriculum provides consistency and proper/safe progression of athletes
