Phillips, Vice President and General Counsel for Boston Scientific, was shot three times and killed in a gas station parking lot. Investigator s have identified Hoffman, Phillips’ former business partner, a s the shoo ter. Hoffman is also suspected of robbing a bank in Blaine, Minnesota on August 31. During the bank robbery, a handgun was displayed. Since both crimes involved the use a handgun, Hoffman is considered armed and dangerous. Hoffman has been sighted multiple times in the Twin Cities area. He has traveled extensively within the Unites States, Canada, and Mexico; and mentioned visiting Belize. He is known to gamble and enjoys playing blackjack in Las Vegas and local casinos. He is known to gravitate toward gay communities in the places he visits. A reward up to $25,000 is offered for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of Hoffman. If seen, avoid contact and call 9-1-1.
