Two-Way Chi-Squared Test – Calculator Tutorial:
Creating the Matrix: Open the matrix format using the Library
button [button with a book]. Make sure the correct tab is
selected – on a hand-held Ti-Nspire the tab will be number 4
Creating the Matrix: Enter the number of rows and columns
and hit OK. Remember: Do not include totals rows or columns.
Creating the Matrix: Enter the data.
Chi-Square Test: Set the matrix as a variable by hitting Ctrl, Var,
typing in any letter or letters, and hitting Enter
Creating the Matrix: Enter the data and hit the Enter button
Chi-Square Test: Using the Menu click on Statistics, Stat Tests,
and Chi-Square 2-Way Test
Chi-Square Test: Enter the name of the matrix – the variable it is
set as – and hit Enter
