Ya’aqob [Jacob], has sent me to you. This is my name forever, and this is

Message of Reconciliation

Torah sh’Bichtav

(Written Torah)

Who hath ears to hear, let him hear

“Sola Scriptura”

(the Scriptures alone is authoritative for faith)

(in His Name)

YaHuWaH

[Yah -hoo-Wah]

is the Name of the Creator.

YaHuWSHuWaH

(YaHuWSHuWaH) is His Son

ALuaHiYM

Page 3: Two Trees

[Al-u-heem - ALHYM] means "Mighty Ones“ or "Power"

Qadosh

means Set-apart, Pure.

Kodesh

(Qodesh) also means "Set-apart"

Ruwach (Ruwach) is the Ibriy (Hebrew) name for His "Presence",

pictured as the Counselor, Helper, and Advocate, the One Who

"proceeds from the Father"

Teh 27:5

For in the day of trouble He will keep me secretly in His booth. In the

covering of His Tent He will hide me. On a Rock He raises me up.

is for you too!

Scripture speaks of a secret place where we can simply go, be alone, be

protected, pray, and hear from Yahuahshua. Knowing there is such a

Page 4: Two Trees

place is a matter of faith. Going back time and again, that's a matter of

building a relationship. You need not have an advanced degree in any

subject, need not have memorized Scripture from beginning to end, but

instead be aware the YaHuWaH of Y’ISCHRa’AL has a place for each

Jew and Gentile who will open their minds and hearts to Him.

Mt 6:5-8

When you pray, you shall not be as the role-fakers, for they love to

stand and pray in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that

they may be seen by men. Most certainly, I tell you, they have received

their reward. But you, when you pray, enter into your inner chamber,

and having shut your door, pray to your Father Who is in secret, and

your Father Who sees in secret shall reward you openly. In praying,

don’t use vain repetitions, as the Gentiles do; for they think that they

shall be heard for their much speaking. Therefore don’t be like them,

don't you see that your Father knows what things you need before you

ask Him.

The truth in reality is visited in this secret place AND must be shared by

those who will live or else ... they will perish ... in darkness.

It is written

Lu 11:33

“No one, when he has lit a Lamp, puts it in a cellar or under a basket,

but on a stand, that those who come in may see the Light.

Teh. 119:105

Your Word is a Lamp to my feet, and a Light (aur) for my path.

Page 5: Two Trees

The lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore when your eye is good, your

whole body is also full of Light; but when it is evil, your body also is full

of darkness. Therefore see whether the light that is in you isn’t darkness.

If therefore your whole body is full of Light, having no part dark, it shall

be wholly full of Light, as when the Lamp with its bright shining gives

you Light.”

With this in mind, heart soul and strength let us study together in the

Ruwach

And now brothers and sisters

Come out of the secret place bearing light!

who see it from afar. The Secret Place, here, shines a bit of light so

many can see from afar. The topics we have chosen are addressed to

Jew and Gentile together. We do this because that is what the Bible

does. This opens the window to make more sense of what Scripture tells

us!

In the secret place is plain language, something simple to read. This is a

mere starting place for deeper consideration.

Page 6: Two Trees

Rom 7:25

I thank YaHuWaH through YaHuWSHuWaH HaMaSHiYaCH, our Master!

So then with the mind, I myself serve YaHuWaH’s Torah, but with the

flesh, the law of sin.

Let me share something with you

The "power within" is the sin nature deep within us.

This is our vulnerability to sin;

it refers to everything within us that is more loyal to our old way of

selfish living than to YaHuWaH

MattithYahuw 6:21

Page 7: Two Trees

For where your treasure is, there your heart shall be also.

Treasure: Aramaic, store, i.e., your “nest egg”. If we first develop a

recognition that our ultimate security comes only from YaHuWaH, and

act on this in belief (by using what would be our personal security for

needs we may have “someday” to meet needs that others have already),

we will look forward more to the time and place where we can enjoy our

investments

(The true retirement—YaHuWaH's Kingdom of Sabbatical Rest).

YaHuWSHuWaH made the connection between almsgiving and treasure

in shamayim clearer in

Luke 12:21.

So is he who lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward

YaHuWaH.”

YaHuWSHuWaH made it clear that having the wrong treasures leads to

our hearts being in the wrong place. What we treasure the most controls

us, whether we admit it or not. If possessions or money become too

important to us, we must re-establish control or get rid of items.

YaHuWSHuWaH calls for a decision that allows us to live contentedly

with whatever we have because we have chosen eternal values over

temporary, earthly treasures.

Luke 12:34

For where your treasure is, there shall your heart be also.

Gal 5: 16-18

So I advise you to live according to your new life in the Ruwach

haQadosh. Then you won't be doing what your sinful nature craves. The

old sinful nature loves to do evil, which is just opposite from what the

Ruwach haQadosh wants. And the Ruwach haQadosh gives us desires

that are opposite from what the sinful nature desires. These two forces

are constantly fighting each other, and your choices are never free from

Page 8: Two Trees

this conflict. But when you are directed by the Ruwach haQadosh, you

are no longer under Torah.

So long as the set Apart in YaHuWaH lives in this world he is, so to

speak, two trees—the old tree of the flesh, and the new tree of the

divine nature implanted by the new birth; and the problem itself is, how

to keep barren the old tree and to make fruitful the new tree.

THE ANSWER IS SIMPLE

?????

Romans 6:19

I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh, for as

you presented your members as servants to uncleanness and to

wickedness upon wickedness, even so now present your members as

servants to righteousness for purity.

(Modern Translation)

I am speaking in human terms on account of your human nature's

inability to understand this: with that in mind, just as you yielded the

members of your [bodies] into servitude to uncleanness and to one kind

of lawlessness after another, so now "enlist" your bodies in the service of

righteousness, whose outcome will be sanctification.

Page 9: Two Trees

You’re…inability to understand: This is a mild rebuke to those who

prided themselves on their “ability” to understand something their Jewish

neighbors could not. (Ch. 14-15) One kind of lawlessness after another:

being sucked deeper and deeper into things contrary to Torah. Enlist:

yield yourself rather than being "drafted" against your will into another,

unprofitable, kind of service. But he has in mind a particular result to be

gained by their step-by-step growth in Sacredness which is larger than a

merely personal lifestyle of righteousness: the salvation of Jews who do

not yet believe. (Ch. 9-12). For this reason he asks them to suppress

their bodily lusts (in this case, culinary tastes) for a higher purpose.

Every man is the servant of the master to whose commands he yields

himself; whether it be the sinful dispositions of his heart, in actions

which lead to death, or the new and Ruwachual obedience implanted by

regeneration. The Talmidim rejoiced now they obeyed from the heart the

gospel, into which they were delivered as into a mold. As the same metal

becomes a new vessel, when melted and recast in another mold, so the

believer has become a new creature. And there is great difference in the

liberty of mind and Ruwach, so opposite to the state of slavery, which

the true Nätsärim has in the service of his rightful HaMaSHiYaCH, whom

he is enabled to consider as his Father, and himself as his son and heir,

by the adoption of grace. The dominion of sin consists in being willingly

slaves thereto, not in being harassed by it as a hated power, struggling

for victory.

Those who now are the servants of YaHuWaH once were the slaves of

sin.

Romans 6:16

Don’t you know that to whom you present yourselves as servants to

obedience, his servants you are whom you obey;

Whether of sin to death,

Page 10: Two Trees

Or of obedience to righteousness?

HALELUYAH

For as through the one man’s disobedience many were made

sinners, even so through the obedience of the One, many will be

made righteous.

Philippians 2:8

He humbled Himself, becoming obedient to death, yes, even the

death of the stake.

MattithYahuw 11:28ff

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened [with human

traditions], and I shall give you rest [right standing/deliverance]! Take

My yoke [right standing/deliverance] upon you, and learn from Me, for I

am tranquil and I am meek ; and in My heart you will find tranquility in

your souls. For My yoke is pleasant, and My burden is light.”

There is no choice but to be obedient now; the choice is between

whether to submit to Mashiyach “easy yoke” or a view of Torah as

burdensome, which emphasizes its power to condemn. Empowering

favor: includes both amnesty for sin and the ability generously given to

be able to accomplish what Torah aimed at--the positive effects of

holiness, without unnecessary fear of being condemned for going about

it wrongly. Since YaHuWSHuWaH has undergone the penalty for the

time when we were not obedient, Torah now has only positive meaning

for those who submit to it: teaching us countless things about YaHuWaH

and His Mashiyach

Heb. 10:7

Then I said, "Behold I come, as it is written of Me in the beginning of the

Books, to do Your will, O YaHuWaH"

Page 11: Two Trees

bringing us great reward

Tehillim. 19:11

Moreover by them is Your servant warned. In guarding them there is

great reward.

Freeing us from unnecessary obstacles

Shemot 15:26

and He said, “If you will diligently listen to the Voice of YaHuWaH your

Aluahiym, and will do that which is right in His eyes, and will pay

attention to His Commandments, and guard all His statutes, I will put

none of the diseases on you, which I have put on the Mitsrites; for I AM

YaHuWaH Who heals you.”

The Voice: Aram., "Living Word". The undrinkable water was a reminder

of the first plague that came upon Mitsrayim, as a warning that

YaHuWaH could start a countdown against them in just the same way.

Mitsrayim is also symbolic of the church, which has become weak

because of obeying only some of the commandments, not all of them.

The water of the Torah seems bitter because we have been told that

obeying it is rebellion against YaHuWaH, but there is nothing else to

drink. The Ibriy word for tree also means “stick”, and the two houses of

Ysra'al, when brought back together, are made “one stick”.

READ Yehezqel 37 READ

When the truth that we are Ysra'al is added to the Torah, we realize

that it is our national constitution and what sets us apart as a people. It

thus becomes sweet to us again in a way it never could be when we

thought it was “just for the Jews”. Note that he makes a point of saying

that obedience was not the goal, but "giving ear" was just as important,

because many people obey in a literal sense but learn nothing from it.

Page 12: Two Trees

Yehoshua 1:8

This scroll of the Torah shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall

meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all

that is written therein: for then you shall make your way prosperous,

and then you shall have good success.

Our attitude toward it now can be one of unmixed love.

Tehillim 119:97

How this became translated to ignoring it completely is a sample of the

subtlety of the enemy’s deceit. How can we ignore a house plan and

expect to build the house correctly?

Romans 8:1

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in

HaMaSHiYaCH YaHuWSHuWaH, who don’t walk according to the flesh,

but according to the Ruwach.

When we respond to YaHuWSHuWaH's call to repent will no longer have

their ancestors' rebellion counted against them. The penalty has been

paid; we, as the Body, are identified with the righteous character of our

Head, who paid it (7:17, 20; 1 Yoch. 3:9) , if we indeed continue to act

in tandem with him.

Romans 8:2

Page 13: Two Trees

For the Torah of the Ruwach of Life in HaMaSHiYaCH YaHuWSHuWaH

made me free from the law of sin and of death.

Only the approach changes, as the law of aerodynamics prevails over,

but does not cancel, the law of gravity. (Bedell) We are empowered to

rise above our evil inclination while still living in a body subject to its

influence. (v. 11) Justice having been satisfied, we can again see

YaHuWaH's commands as an expression of His desire that life be the

best it can be in a fallen world, rather than something that condemns us.

They are solid ground to land on; their "teeth" are removed and they

become mainly instructive--our friends--once we are free from fear in

regard to whether we have observed them well enough.

Romans 8:3

For what the Torah couldn’t do, in that it was weak through the flesh,

YaHuWaH did, sending His Own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for

sin, He condemned sin in the flesh;

Couldn’t do: Once we had forsaken the covenant, it held only

condemnation for us, and did not contain the mechanism by which a

whole nation, once shattered, could return, unbesmirched, to favor with

YHWH. Also, Sha’ul again uses the motif of “weakness” to set the stage

for his answer to those who consider others “weaker” than themselves.

(Segal, Nanos; cf. note on 7:7) Condemned sin: not merely judged, but

rendered it even more censurable because of his perfect example of

what a human being can be. In the likeness of sinful flesh: Though

tempted in every way (Heb. 4:15), he was flesh and yet did not sin, thus

precluding any idea that the physical nature, as such, is inherently evil.

To deal with sin: The main purpose of YaHuWSHuWaH first coming as

the “Mashiyach ben Yoseyf” was to be “bruised for our iniquities” (Yesh.

53:5), whereas when He returns in the role of “Mashiyach ben David”, it

will be “without reference to sin” on the part of those whom He has

already cleansed (6:10; Heb. 9:12, 26-28; Yoch. 15:3) In the flesh:

Aramaic, in His (YaHuWSHuWaH) flesh. I.e., by incorporating into

Himself all the unpunished sins especially of the prodigal Northern

Kingdom, He was able to pay off their penalty and thus nullify our debt,

so that sin had no more claim on us. Torah: the same word in Greek and

Page 14: Two Trees

Aramaic as the two “principles” in v. 2, and hence here it may refer to

the latter of these rather than the Torah of Moshe, but not in v. 4:

Romans 8:4

that the ordinance of the Torah might be fulfilled in us, who walk not

after the flesh, but after the Ruwach.

Ordinance: Righteous requirement of the Torah: the outcome that

YaHuWaH had originally intended before there was a Torah: true love

towards YaHuWaH and one's neighbor. It counts as equivalent in His

eyes as long as we keep ordering our lives (literally, walking, a concrete

Hebrew way of putting it) along that path and not the other, though we

are still in sin-infested bodies

Romans 8:5

For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of

the flesh, but those who live according to the Ruwach, the things of the

Ruwach.

According to the flesh: specifically, those more concerned that they were

free to eat certain things without seeing that it was preventing those

who were obligated to kosher laws from recognizing them as genuinely

possessing a salvation that the latter also needed. Direct their minds to

the things of earthly nature: though they now have the option of not

doing so. Living according to Ruwach: letting their human spirit, revived

by being reconnected to YaHuWaH's Ruwach, be united into one

operating force, thus pursuing the things of the Ruwach realm.

Romans 8:6

For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Ruwach is life

and peace;

The mindset of the flesh: the natural way of thinking, the "psychic" mind

of which cannot comprehend spiritual matters, but judges according to

its own feelings or reasoning’s.

Page 15: Two Trees

1 Cor 2:12-15

But we received, not the Ruwach of the world, but the Ruwach which is

from YaHuWaH, that we might know the things that were freely given to

us by YaHuWaH Which things also we speak, not in words which man’s

wisdom teaches, but which the Ruwach haQadosh teaches, comparing

Ruwachual matters with Ruwachual matters. Now the natural man

doesn’t receive the things of YaHuWaH’s Ruwach, for they are

foolishness to him, and he can’t know them, because they are

Ruwachual discerned. But he who is Ruwachual discerns all things, and

he himself is judged by no one.

PLEASE PAUSE, AND READ CAREFULLY THE NEXT VERSES

“For who has known the mind of YaHuWaH, that he should

instruct Him?

But we have Mashiyach’s mind.

WALK THE WALK; NOT JUST TALK THE TALK

Romans 8:7

because the mind of the flesh is for the Adversary against YaHuWaH;

for it is not subject to YaHuWaH's Torah, neither indeed can it be.

This explanation of the limitations of human religion unaided by

YaHuWaH’s intervention accounts for Sha’ul’s lack of success (ch. 7).

Enmity: in Aramaic, the word is the equivalent of the Hebrew Ba’al-

zebub. Able: The same term used of one faction in the debate Sha’ul is

addressing here (ch. 14-15).

Romans 8:8

Those who are in the flesh can’t please YaHuWaH.

Page 16: Two Trees

Thus those who operate in the [strength of] flesh [alone] have no power

to please Aloha

.

The most powerful life is the most simple life.

The most powerful life is the life that knows where it's going,

that knows where the source of strength is, and the life that stays free of

clutter and happenstance and hurriedness.

Being busy is not a sin.

YaHuWSHuWaH was busy.

Paul was busy.

Kepha was busy.

Nothing of significance is achieved without effort and hard work and

weariness. Being busy, in and of itself, is not a sin.

But being busy in an endless pursuit of things that leave us empty and

hollow and broken inside—that cannot be pleasing to YaHuWaH.

One source of man's weariness is the pursuit of things that can never

satisfy; but which one of us has not been caught up in that pursuit at

some time in our life? Our passions, possessions, and pride—these are

all dead things. When we try to get life out of dead things, the result is

only weariness and dissatisfaction.

Page 17: Two Trees

Ephesios 4:22

Throw off your old evil nature and your former way of life, which is

rotten through and through, full of lust and deception. Instead, there

must be a Ruwachual renewal of your thoughts and attitudes. You must

display a new nature because you are a new person, created in

YaHuWaH's likeness--righteous, Set-apart, and true.

Created in righteousness and true Sacredness.

The old adage is so true. Lust is like a fire. The more you feed it, the

more it demands. The hotter it gets, the hotter it burns. "Put it off," Paul

says. "Instead, be renewed in the Ruwach of your mind."

Rhomaios 12:2

Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of

your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and

perfect will of YaHuWaH.

"Let YaHuWaH transform you into a new person by changing the way

you think." It is possible to avoid most worldly customs and still be

proud, covetous, selfish, stubborn, and arrogant. Only when the Ruwach

HaQodesh renews, reeducates, and redirects our mind are we truly

transformed

Rhomaios 8:5

For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of

the flesh, but those who live according to the Ruwach, the things of the

Ruwach.

Page 18: Two Trees

Mind the things of the Ruach - Think of, relish, love things invisible,

eternal; the things which the Ruach hath revealed, which he works in us,

moves us to, and promises to give us.

Ecclesiastes 2:26

For to the man who pleases him, YaHuWaH gives wisdom, knowledge,

and joy; but to the sinner he gives travail, to gather and to heap up, that

he may give to him who pleases YaHuWaH . This also is vanity and a

chasing after wind.

2 Tim 9-10

It is YaHuWaH Who saved us and called us with a set-apart calling, not

according to our works, but according to His own purpose and favor,

which was given us in Mashiyach YaHuWSHuWaH from time before the

ages (before the beginning of time) and is now made manifest by the

appearing of our Savior YaHuWSHuWaH HaMaSHiYaCH - who abolished

death, and has brought Life and immortality to light through the

Besorah.

Finally I leave you with this thought

They came to Elim, where there were twelve springs of water, and

seventy palm trees: and they encamped there by the waters.

Elim: means "strong ones". Twelve springs of water: 70 persons--still

just one clan--went into Mitsrayim (1:5), but came back out as twelve

whole tribes. There are 70 nations delineated in Bereshiyth 10,

corresponding with the number of the sons of Ysra'al. (Deut. 32:8) A

(date) palm tree is a symbol of the flourishing of the righteous (Tehillim

92:12); water symbolizes the teaching of the Torah, and 70 palms

signifies that THIS "oasis" provides enough for all of the nations. Not

until Ysra'al had been removed from Mitsrayim could she be such a light

to the nations. This resting place is therefore a foreshadowing of the age

Page 19: Two Trees

to come, when the leaves of the tree of life (within the city with 12 gates

named after the sons of Ysra'al) provide healing to the nations. (Rev. 22)
