Direct Messages are a way to have a private conversation with someone on twitter

Go to the person’s profile that you wish to follow

While on the app on your mobile

device, select this button

Among other options that you can manage about the follower, here you can select “Send Direct Message”

I use direct messages for many reasons; Setting up meetings, sending private

information to clients, and dealing with Customer Service issues are done are all done

with ease through direct messages.
