What is it?

‣ Allows a specific custom object record to be selected for field

merges / personalization

Why use it?

‣ Eloqua field merges from Custom Data Object fields based on

the last record that was modified

‣ If there are multiple custom object records you need matching

options in order to select the correct data for personalization

When to use it?

‣ Custom Object with multiple records linked to a contact

‣ Multiple records with purchase history and you personalize

based on a specific product.

‣ Multiple opportunities / inquiries and you want to personalize

based on a specific stage.

on account type.

How to use it?

‣ Create your email and field merge(s) based on the custom

object field.

‣ Add a field to your custom object. This will be used to flag the

record once selected.

‣ Install the connector in your Eloqua instance.

‣ Create a program / campaign to input your cloud connector.

‣ Configure a cloud connector before each email with

personalization.

‣ Enable / Activate.
