Part A Reading aloud
Today I open my locker, and out jumps a monster! ‘What is this
ugly creature?’ Exclaims my
History teacher. It knocks everything over in the classroom and
shoots out the door with a loud
‘BOOM’!
It makes a mess in the library and upsets the Drama Club’s
activity. It eats up everything in the
canteen, and is now running towards Principal Bean, I’m just
about to scream, when
my Maths teacher wakes me up from this bad dream!
Hello! I’m Jessie. I live in Central. I’m 13. I’m tall. I have
long, straight hair and I usually have my
hair in a ponytail. I’m energetic. I like dancing. I practise
hip hop dancing with my friends every
Saturday. They’re creative and often come up with new steps.
Sometimes, we watch K-pop videos
on the Internet together. We always get very excited when we see
our favourite groups. The singers
dance so well! My parents like dancing too, but they never do
hip hop dancing.
Nice to meet you! I’m Ryan from Chester School. At our school,
we have lessons in different
classrooms, so we carry our bags with us everywhere. I like
swimming in the pool. There’s also a
gym on the top floor, a drama studio next to the library and a
football pitch behind the assembly
hall. I study a lot of subjects but my favourite ones are PE and
Science. Right now, I’m designing a
robot for a Science project.
Firstborn children are usually organised. I’m not sure about
this. My eldest sister Judy often forgets
her tasks. Her desk is always dirty and she seldom tidies it!
The eldest child is usually bossy too.
Well, Judy does ask us to do things for her all the time! My
brother Andrew is a middle child. He
sometimes does crazy things like dying his hair green! The
middle child has lots of friends and is
quite talkative. I guess that’s true because Andrew is always on
the phone.
