A genuine passion for cookware showed us the way forward, right from the company’s first steps into the housewares industry. After 45 years in kitchens around the world, TVS’ experience has the knowledge when it comes to designing and with the innovation to create cookware to meet every kitchen’s need. This is what has made TVS stand out in the marketplace and develop over time with a style hallmarked by its great flexibility. This is an essential choice when it comes to keeping in line with the trends and the needs for kitchens all over the world, while continuing to respect the values of genuine excellence made in Italy, values such as quality.

Strategy, research, knowhow and important partnerships form the foundation of an industrial process that includes a lot of big numbers: 463 active product lines, 10,000,000 pieces made in 2015, 5,500 tons of aluminium made into cookware of all types every year.Large numbers that have been joined by important awards: 15 international design and innovation awards, new partnerships on international markets and the strengthening of new partnerships in Italy and abroad.At TVS, doing business virtuously means working together with people for sustainability, and to improve quality of life, in the area in which we work as well as in the environment around us. For years we have been able to boast important SA 8000 certification, the first international standard to measure the ethical level and responsibility of a company. ISO 9001 certification allows TVS to map out a management model that will lead it to continued improvement through being customer-oriented and focusing on customer satisfaction, involvement of human resources and planning strategies based on evidence.

AluminiumAluminium, which is considered the best heat conductor after copper, is the base material for every item of our cookware, guaranteeing excellent heat distribution, reliability and energy savings.At TVS we only use 98-99.5% pure aluminium for complete hygiene safety. Three different alloys are used according to the finished product required.4006 alloy: perfect for items with differentiated thickness and offers the possibility to add engravings and decorations on the bottom and side.1050 alloy: guaranteed easier application of decorations using pad or screen printing methods. It is also extremely malleable using mechanical or hydraulic presses, with the possibility to create items with more irregular formats.Food grade aluminium for die casting: ideal for high-thickness items (> 7 mm) and special shapes that are difficult to make using traditional forming techniques.

In funzione del prodotto che si intende ottenere si utilizzano tre diverse leghe.Lega 4006: perfetta per oggetti con spessori differenziati, con possibilità di incisioni e decorazioni sul fondo e sul lato.Lega 1050: garantisce una maggiore facilità di decorazione con tampografia e serigrafia. Handles and gripsTVS dedicates a good deal of care and attention to the ergonomics of its handles and grips, to guarantee safety and practical use: essential elements in a piece of cookware.100% styled in Italy and developed to make the most of aesthetics and grip, TVS handles and grips are made in fire-resistant, self-extinguishing material: Bakelite. Thermal insulating Bakelite is used on nearly 90% of TVS products and is often painted or covered in soft touch for better ergonomic results as well as safety and easy handling. TVS handles and grips are also made in steel and silicone on ranges with a more professional look. All handles are designed in the TVS product department, often in conjunction with great designers and engineers, then tested in house and externally checked by laboratories to guarantee structural resistance.

Non-stick coatingTraditional non-stick coating has excellent characteristics that make it not only excellent for use, but also safe in terms of consumer health: glide, excellent thermal resistance (continuously stable at 260°C) and chemicals (acids and alkalis). It will not deteriorate over time and nor will it alter the flavour of foods or be attacked by micro-organisms, which makes this not just perfect to improve on the performance of cookware, but also a guarantee of wellness for those who use it.

Titan Resistance superior coatingTitan Resistance superior coating is the TVS coating with a layer or ultra-resistant Titanium. Applied directly to the sandblasted aluminium pan body, it forms an extremely hard covering of particles melted at 15,000°C, guaranteeing 4 times better resistance to scratching. The bottom is safe for use with metal tools and guarantees super non-stick qualities that last much longer than a standard non-stick.

4ever coating4ever is the new TVS system devised to preserve the performance of cookware over time. This is why it is synonymous with constant non-stick quality to last the lifetime of the pan. Applied to the non-stick coating, reinforced and fixed with an ultra-resistant barrier, 4ever acts like a protective screen, increasing the durability of the non-stick coating, while preserving performance over time.

Per questo è sinonimo di costante antiaderenza, per tutta la vita della padella. Mineral non-stick coatingsQuarzotek non-stick coating combines all of the characteristics of a non-stick with those of stone. The aluminium base layer is coated with one or more layers of extremely hard mineral particles, dotted with high content mineral filler: like a traditional non-stick coating, mineral has excellent characteristics to give it top performance while being safe in health terms. It is even more resistant to deterioration over time; it will not alter the flavour of foods and is not attacked by micro-organisms.

Ceramic coatingBased on Sol-Gel technology, this coating takes its name from the ceramic particles it contains and which not only give the surface its smooth, even and shiny appearance, but they also contribute to even heat distribution, guaranteeing balanced cooking results. The production cycle for ceramic pans has a low environmental impact (application temperatures notably lower than those of traditional non-stick coatings) and allows significant savings in energy terms, as well as reducing CO2 emissions by 50%, while continuing to guarantee products of excellent quality.

EXP coatingEXP is a genuine newcomer to the market:it guarantees non-stick qualities on a par with the best traditional coatings and decidedly superior to the existing ceramic coatings. Its extrashiny surface is a pleasure to the touch, and even more surprising on the cook top. Three finishing layers, reinforced by mineral particles they form an ultra-hard, ultra-smooth surface with excellent resistance to scratching and wear (+50%), and great reliability even at high temperatures.

The bottom is reinforced with a steel disc and this means every item can withstand high temperatures as well as being ideal for optimum heat distribution. The large size has been specially devised as part of the development of the shape in order to provide a greater cooking surface.

The super-hard base of the Titan Resistance coating used to make the bottom of this cookware range is scratchproof, resistant to metal utensils, and so non-stick that it prevents any food residues from remaining, even after lengthy cooking processes. Food doesn’t stick, performance is maintained over time, and at the end of the cooking process, any residues are easily just wiped away. This range is also perfectly dishwasher safe.
