SpiderPig is a new kind of messenger app created by Manxs Interim Partners B.V.. This app stands out because of its genuine real-time GPS properties in combination with a messenger.
GPS:
Let your contact list come to life on your smartphone. With SpiderPig you can see multiple contacts from your contact list walking around on your smartphone. Friends, families, business contacts and others can be chosen anytime you wish. You may also switch the GPS on and off anytime.
Furthermore the app is very user-friendly, it takes just one tap to switch “from chat to map” or “from map to chat”!
With SpiderPig you are able to;
- Message
- Voice messaging
- Sending photos
- See group/chat info
- Show location on/off per chat
- Sending and receiving GPS data slider
- Create and change your own profile photo
- Create and change your username
- Create a group chat
- See how close by your contacts are
- See the country / city where your contacts are
Contacts:
SpiderPig has it’s own contact list. When someone in your smartphone contact list uses SpiderPig he or she will be added automatically.
Tell a friend:
You can tell people from your contact list about SpiderPig by sending an automatic text message through the ‘ tell a friend’ option.
Preferences:
In preferences you can set the following options to your liking:
Turn your SpiderPig GPS On/Off
Change your profile photo
Change your username
Costs:
It is FREE!
Updates:
Updates are also free of costs. We will continue to improve SpiderPig. On the website users are able to vote what kind of update they want.

How does it work?
Installation:
Download SpiderPig in the following stores:
- Apple Appstore (iOS)- Google Playstore (Android)
Install SpiderPig and accept the terms & conditions.
Phone number and country:
Select your country and insert your phone number.
Press OK to go to the next screen.
Insert the code:
When your have entered in your phone number an automated text message will be sent to that number.
This can take up to a minute.
Insert the code and tap OK.
Username:
Type in your username and press OK.
Location:
Allow SpiderPig to send and receive your location.
Press allow and then OK to complete your installation.
Map:
SpiderPig will pinpoint your Real-Time location.
The iPhone version uses Apple Maps.
The Android version uses Google Maps.
Invite your friends!To make your map less lonely you can invite your friends to start using SpiderPig.SpiderPig synchronises your phones contact list.
Tap on the green invite button. An automated text message will be sent to that contact.
Contacts that already installed SpiderPig have the ‘Go SpiderPig’ button instead of the green invite button. Tap on ‘Go SpiderPig’ and send a message.
In chat:Here you can send (->) the following:
- Messages - Photo’s (+)- Voice (+)
Tap on the top right corner to see your friend in Real-Time on the map.
A groupchat works the same.
Chat overview:
Here you can see all your chats and group chats.
Now let’s go to the main map and see if you are still the only one on the map!
Map:
As you can see, all your chat contacts are now on the map.
When you tap on a contact on the map you will go to a direct chat with that person.
Settings:
Here you can do the following:
Change your profile picture.Change your username.Adjust your sending and receiving GPS signals. Or just turn your location OFF.
Turn your location OFF:As seen in Setting you can turn your location OFF for everyone.
But now I want to turn my location OFF for my business contacts or ex-girlfriends.
When in chat, tap on the name and a new screen appears. Here you can turn your location OFF per person.
