Yılmaz Büyükerşen Wax Museum:
The Mayor of Eskişehir Prof.Dr. Yılmaz Büyükerşen donated money for an opening of a wax museum (the first in Eskişehir). Like the famous ‘’Madam Tussad’’ wax museum in London, UK. There are several historical characters (160) in the museum. The income of the museum is donated for the education of disabled children.
Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Sabancı Planetarium: Is the biggest planetarium in Turkey. It is equipped with the
latest technology. It can show realtime images and videos by using the latest UniView programs.
Tema Project: In Turkey we loose 740 million soil in one year by erosion.
The Tema Project aims to plant trees and other plants all over Turkey’s open lands to reduce erosion.
Eskişehir Benli Recycling Center: The Benli Recycling Plant recycles used paper, glass, plastics and
tin cans. Reducing the polution in the environment. There are a lot of recycle bins in Eskişehir: At schools, in front of apartments buildings, parks...
Plastic Cap Project: The plastic cap project is the donation of 2000 plastic
caps to buy one wheel chair to help disabled people.
Eskişehir Çağdaş Glass Museum: The Eskişehir Glass Museum is built to show modern glass
art to the citizens of Eskişehir.
Eskişehir Homeless Animal Shelter: The homeless animal shelter serves 200 homeless
animals and has served 2000 animals since 2008.
Eskişehir Sazova Park: Eskişehir Sazova park was built for the relaxation of the citizens and for the
devolepment of imagination, science and culture for children.
Eskişehir Eti Archeology Museum: It reserves old Anatolian cultural items such as: Old money,
weapons, tools, written text, pots... And teaches Eskişehir citizens about old Anatolian culture.
Eskişehir Aviation Museum:
Eskişehir Aviation Museum isn’t a very complex museum as we compare it the others in Istanbul and Ankara. But its one of the lovely aviation museums in Turkey.
