THE FLOOD CONTROL SYSTEM WITH THE SHORTEST ASSEMBLY TIME EVER
TURBOswiss Flood Control Systems fight floods by means of water-filled barriers that can be set up at just any place in a minimum of time and with a minimum of efforts. One barrier consists of two parallel tubes made from special, heavy-duty tarpaulin, featuring a barrage height of 94 cm. As standard, the tubes are 25 meters long. A unique, patented coupling system / lock element allows for setting up barriers of any given length and facilitates changing directions into all 3 di-mensions at any given point, without the need of deploying any specific components. TURBOswiss barriers can be set up in any kind of terrain and on any kind of surface without any fastening or support. TURBOswiss Flood Control Sys-tems stand out by extremely short assembly times, most easy handling, smart details, and premium quality. They were de-signed by a team, which contributed its longstanding experi-ence, profound product know-how, and unique expertise in order to achieve various improvements:
• quick and simple assembly (no time-consuming blow-up operations – extremely short assembly times)
• most simple handling (assembly/disassembly without any efforts thanks to TURBOswiss Caddy)
• improved watertightness of joints
• in- and outlets freely accessible at any time
• minor staff requirements – only 2 people needed for assembly
• easily storable even in confined spaces
• field use without any fastening
• requires no elbow elements and doesn’t comprise any loose parts
• allows for leaving passages that are closed shortly before the flood

TURBOswiss means the consequent advancement and improvement of existing systems – faster to assemble and easier to handle!

element is the core of TURBOswiss System:
intuitive handling and reliable function
Smart and Stable Construction plus Intuitive HandlingTURBOswiss System’s centerpiece is the BIG BOX lock element. Intuitive
handling and reliability are basic conditions for a system’s quick and suc-
cessful deployment in disaster situations.
Tried and tested prefab components ensure a high level of functional reli-
ability. For rescue forces, this means well-known interfaces, familiar and
frequently rehearsed procedures, and fast assembly – in short: safe and
intuitive handling! The main element consists of high-quality, anodized bent
aluminum sheet components, riveted to a high-tensile construction by means
of various cross-beams. The smart combination of prefab components and
specifically designed elements facilitates most efficient design and produc-
tion efforts and expenses.

TURBOswiss Flood Control Systems are an internation-ally patented flood fighting advancement by tubes. 6 men, equipped with 2 pumps, will need about 50 minutes to set up barriers of 75 meters length and a protective height of 94 cm. A similar bank made from sand bags requires approx. 80 tons of sand to be trans-ported, filled to 4500 – 5000 sand bags, and then piled up. Without having any recreational breaks, 60 men will need about 8 hours to realize this.
