Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR)
To supply dc excitation voltage after initial start up by converting alternator‘s output ac voltage to dc excitation voltage .
To maintain the alternator‘s output voltage at 415V ac.
Adjust excitation voltage in order to adjust alternator‘s output voltage with either grid voltage during synchronization process.
SYNCHRONIZATION
Same voltage. Same frequency. Same phase sequence. Same phase angle.
Necessary conditions :-
LOAD DISTRIBUTION OF TG
SAP II.NEW MCC OF SAP I.ZEOLITE BUILDING.TANK FARM AREA.RO PLANT (REVERSE OSMOSIS).UTILITY PCC.PACKAGE BOILER OF DM PLANT.
SUGGESTIONSOld relays should be replaced with
microcontroller and microprocessor based relay. PLC based Control System should be
implemented.New filter less CPC should be installed as filters
can only be cleaned during shutdown process.Ammeters should be installed in order to check
individual loads.
