Final Project aims to make robots that enable dapt detect the presence of a ball which put in a certain room in a contained field wall that was arranged to be detected by the robot, and can be inserted at a different place but still in one the field sketch. In this tool consist of three (three) circuit blocks, namely block-detection sensor input as a series of Ping ultrasonic distance range finder and Push Botton, block control (controller) using AVR microcontroller IC AT MEGA block 8535 and output in the form of control or driver circuit motor using IC L293D. Implementation of this final research conducted in the laboratory Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Oregon State University, in second semester (092) starting from February to May academic year 2009-2010 by using laboratory experiments. Research tools have been made through some of them by doing the design process in mechanical design, electronic design and design of programming on the device, after which the voltage and current measurement circuits have been made. In the process of testing, this robot can do the movement back and forth, turn right-left, raising and lowering his hand. In the experiment it can be seen, this robot can run as its function is that it can detect room in a field, then the robot followed the room that had been determined that the robot can find the object of ping-pong ball and then picked up the ball.
