Hello Everyone! My name is Allisonn O’Neill and I will be your new Youth Ministry/ Liturgy Coordinator. I was born and raised locally in Oregon City, and I grew up Catholic. I attended Resurrection Catholic Parish for twelve years where I altar ser-ved, sang in the choir, and was heavily involved in the youth ministry program. I went to La Salle High School in Milwaukie where I was a member of the choir and a Eu-charistic minister. After that, I went to the University of Arizona for college. I gradua-ted from there in December of 2019 with my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Thea-tre. I am so excited that I am given this opportunity to help the youth of our church grow stronger in their faith. Youth ministry is very important in every church. It helps ensure young people have a relationship with God for the rest of their lives. I will also

be helping out with the music for different masses throughout each weekend. If you have any questions for me about the future of the youth program here at St. Peter Catholic Church, please feel free to reach out. I have so many fun exciting plans for our church, and I cannot wait to get started. Thank you so much for giving me such a warm welcome during my first week. I am looking forward to many years with all of you.

Hola a todos! Mi nombre es Allisonn O'Neill y seré su nueva coordinadora del Ministerio de Juventud y Liturgia. Nací y crecí en Oregón City. Tuve una formación católica. Fui miembro de la Parroquia de la Resurrección por doce años, y forme parte del equipo de acólitos y del coro. Así también estuve muy involucrada en el programa del Ministerio Juvenil. Fui a la Escuela Secundaria La Salle en Milwaukie, donde fui miembro del coro y del Ministerio Eucarístico. Cuando terminé la secundaria asistí a la Universidad de Arizona donde me gradué en el mes de diciembre del año 2019 con una Licenciatura en Bellas Artes y Teatro Musical. Estoy muy emocionada y agradecida por la oportunidad que se me ofrece de ayudar a los jóvenes de nuestra parroquia a fortalecerse en su fe. El ministerio de la juventud es un ministerio muy importante en todas las iglesias. Nos ayuda a asegurar que los jóvenes tengan una relación con Dios por el resto de sus vidas. Estaré apoyando también al ministerio de música para diferentes misas a lo largo de cada fin de semana. Si tiene alguna pregunta sobre el futuro del programa juvenil, no dude en comunicarse conmigo. Tengo muchos planes para los jóvenes de nuestra parroquia, todos ellos muy emocionantes y divertidos. No puedo esperar para empezar!. Quiero agradecer a todos por la cálida bienvenida. home. When in need, they ring the rectory bell. They are,

in effect, ringing your doorbell.

Is there a family you know who needs assistance?

together we can help the suffering and poor.

Primer Domingo de Cuaresma La Cuaresma es un llamado a "dar limosna para los

pobres". Dondequiera que viva usted ya sea alrededor de la

parroquia, hay familias pobres a poca distancia de su

Congratulations to our Catechists for completing the Level One training of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd!!!! The ninety hours of training took place over the course of a year at the Franciscan Montessori Earth School in SE Portland. We are now attending training for the Level Two of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. Thank you for your prayers and support!
