: In a first of its kind initiative to bridge the gap between education & real life corporate workability, Delhi based leading ISO certified strategy consulting firm ‘Total Solutions Incorporated (TSI)’ & ‘Total Resource Academy of India (TRAIN)’ a leading knowledge management, training & development organization launched a month long unique program to ignite young minds by showcasing various Industries and interactively creating a platform for DPS R K Puram class XII students to engage in a unique program known as ‘Igniting Minds & Ideas – EEE Certification Program.
The program will help the young minds by increasing their knowledge and know-how of the functioning of various industries in order to help them take right decisions for their future careers. It was an exclusive certification program which created awareness about learning pathways that align education with career opportunities. It successfully facilitated objective-based deliberations about enabling successful careers for learners with varying learning styles and interests through an innovative pedagogy.
"As the world economy goes through one of the worst recessions in history, students are finding it increasingly difficult to choose Industries that they would want to be a part of for their future careers. Every two decades the global economy witnesses an opportunity to bring radical path-breaking & innovative measures that redefines & revolutionizes the dynamics of the business world and I believe that it is need of the hour to collaborate young minds with the Corporates, Brands & Orgnizations for a better world and this is the reason why we developed TSI’s ‘Igniting Minds & Ideas - EEE Certification Program’’ said Kapil Malhotra, Chairman of TSI.
Dr. Shayama Chona, Principal of DPS R K Puram said, “I believe strongly in TSI’s ‘Igniting Minds & Ideas – EEE Certification Program’ which shall help students by giving them an opportunity to collaborate with the real world which shall help them immensely in their future. My goal as Principal is to enable our students to be better equipped for the future challenges . Our focus at DPSR-EEE Program will be “Formation” than just “Information” which encompasses nurturing of self-esteem, character and awareness about different industries.”

WHY ‘MAGNETO’?

MAGNETO, as the oxford dictionary claims, is a small generator that uses a magnet to create electrical impulses. For now, the small generator is Mr. Kapil Malhotra; the magnet is the EEE certification programme and the electrical impulses are the ignited ideas from the minds that this movement ignited. This magazine is the promulgation, the official announcement of a new beginning.(Magneto is the first issue of the yet-to-come league of magazines covering the EEE certification programme.)

“The real challenge was to make the students believe that this programme was real. That the programme would definitely take them to the corporate world and give them an opportunity to work on a real time project.

It was essentially a 2-3 hour discussion we had with the students, where we started off with telling them what the EEE programme is going to be. We saw the students learning and understanding each word that we said and eventually we could see an evolution happening in their mind sets.”

– Mr. Kapil Malhotra.

EMPOWER

Page 8: TSI's EEE Magazine - Magneto

“In the second phase, ‘EMPOWER’, the students got an opportunity to interact with corporates. Each went to spend a day in their corporate offices and learnt how the corporate functions. It was a real time experience in terms of various operations. The students got an opportunity to visit, learn and imbibe. Within the ½ day visit they were told about the various departments and divisions, where they interact and basically the objective of the organization.

Here we ensured that both the stake holders, the students and the corporates felt empowered.”
