MD versus 3-way ball valve

MD has hardened ceramic seat (8x stronger than steel versus 3-way soft seat

MD has ½” (or larger) flow through porting versus ¼” for 3-way MD is proprietary sample valve technology versus 3-way ball

valve technology MD has TSI bolt pattern for easy addition of secondary ISO

valve or change to stinger tube MD has a multi-turn handle to allow control of flow into bottle

versus 3-way quarter turn handle MD has no internal volume allowing for a representative

sample versus 3-way with ball valve cavity. TSI can supply either the MD or the 3-way versus customer

preference but the MD is a durable robust valve designed for process sampling

Steam Stinger

1. Drawing E2 is equipped with a steam stinger so that the process is kept hot throughout the sampling process. The steam stinger will insure that the sample will not set up in the line in order to achieve a representative sample each time.

2. This system is also equipped with a bottle enclosure to protect the operator from any exposure to the sample.
