TRUMANSBURG ROTARY MEETING MINUTES FOR 7/2/20 President Peggy started her first meeting with the pledge, thought and poem. We discussed the BBQ for this coming Saturday (7/4). Everything is all set. We also decided to have a BBQ every three weeks to help raise money for the club. The dates will be listed under “Upcoming Events”. Durand reported that the time capsule from the Rotary Island has been buried and will be opened in 20 years. Also, the Island is ready for the next honoring and will be set up soon. Neil discussed the Student of the Month program that he would like to have in the school. A committee was formed to look over his proposal and bring it back to the meeting next week. The club is in favor of it. Now it is a matter of tweaking it to fit our needs. We also discussed many ideas for fundraisers. We are now limited because of Covid 19 but will look at the ideas as soon as we can. The meeting ended at 7:43. Happy Dollars so far….
