Day 1 Meals not included

Travel to Florida arriving in Orlando in the late afternoon or early evening. Your motorcoach will be awaiting your arrival to transport your school to your hotel located on International Drive in the heart of Orlando’s action. Dependent upon time allowed, we can retire to our rooms, take advantage of the hotel amenities, or check-out several nearby attractions. Dinner is on own this evening to accommodate various arrival times. Once your flights have been issued, if you would like us to make a dinner reservation for your school, please just let us know. Our team is ready to assist you! Sample Hotel: The Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando – The Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando is ideally located on Orlando's famous International Drive. This hotel's superb central location provides easy access to major attractions, including Universal Studios Florida. The hotel features three attractive pool areas with beautifully landscaped gardens, and a Guest Services Desk offering day trips, transportation arrangements and attraction tickets, a gift shop, a video arcade, a full restaurant, a sports bar and a snack shop & deli. Orlando Activity Options Universal Studios Theme Parks with Park Hopper Pass + Science-behind-the-Scenes Master Class A Science and Technology Tour of Universal's Islands of Adventure. Students will have the opportunity to discover the science involved in creating the world’s most technologically advanced theme park. This workshop showcases the physics, technology, horticulture and general sciences that went into designing and building this state-of-the-art theme park. The Master Class starts promptly at 8 AM. When completed, groups have the remainder of the day to spend at the theme parks.

Universal Studios Theme Parks with Park Hopper Pass + Special FX Master Class A special effects program to discover the secrets of making movie magic at Universal Studios! Through this interactive tour of Universal Studios, students will learn, hands-on, about the arts and sciences used to create some of the most spectacular special effects in motion picture history and what it took to recreate those effects in some of Universal Studios’ most popular attractions. The Master Class starts promptly at 8 AM. When completed, groups have the remainder of the day to spend at the theme parks. Universal Studios Theme Parks with Park Hopper Pass + Business Education Master Class Presented by CNBCs The Profit, featuring Marcus Lemonis. Career planning doesn’t have to be overwhelming. From how to choose a career path to how to improve people skills, the engaging, expert-led 2-hour modules offer students real-world advice that will serve them throughout their careers. Choose one or more sessions: Career Exploration & Preparation – The focus is on discovering natural strengths. This module provides self-assessment tools to define several areas of interest for students and covers the entire process from application to interview, personal brand to work values. Leadership Skills & Personal Development – Students are asked to take a good look at their own spheres of influence and assess the impact they may potentially make on others. They are provided tools they can use to positively influence their school or work environment and improve their personal skills. Business Development: People, Process, Product – The 3 Ps are not only important for entrepreneurs, they are the foundation for any successful business. This module introduces these principles to teach students about the internal and external factors that affect businesses and how preparation for changes to these environments are imperative to the future of the company. Universal Studios Theme Parks with Park Hopper Pass + STEAM App Using the know-how behind Universal’s top attractions, these 2-hour programs help students deepen their understanding of how science, technology, engineering, the arts and mathematics are integrated in rides and attractions. Transformers Roll Out – Students learn about the engineering principles of the 6 Degrees of Freedom and apply that knowledge to a hands-on analysis of TRANSFORMERS™: The Ride 3-D. Students then use their new skills to reconstruct the ride vehicle’s motion sequences. Hollywood Rip Ride Rock-it - A heart-pounding lesson in physical principles taking students inside the loops and drops of Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit™, teaching them hands-on lessons about the conservation of energy behind one of Universal Orlando’s top attractions. Mummy Dig-Site Detective - Put your students in the middle of a strange series of events on Revenge of the Mummy™ attraction, asking them to use their

powers of scientific observation to find evidence and draw conclusions based on their perceptions of the ride environment. Jurassic Palaeobotany - Students become palaeobotanists searching Jurassic Park™ for foliage from the era of the dinosaurs and comparing their findings to fossils to make identifications. Students use tablets to photograph plants and plot their locations on a map of the area, experiencing the rush of scientific discovery in the process. Kongtrol Panel - Kongtrol Panel pulls students into the world of Skull Island: Reign of Kong™, where they use engineering principles to program simulated vehicles safely around tracks of varying difficulty.

NASA’s Kennedy Space Center at Cape Canaveral John Glenn, Neil Armstrong, Sally Ride and Jim Lovell are just a few names of the brave men and women that have launched into space from Kennedy Space Center, and now it's your turn to become a part of the space program. Your full day of exploration includes real space hardware, authentic attractions, inspiring exhibits and hands-on experiences. The incredible accomplishments of the Apollo moon program return to life in the amazing Apollo/Saturn V Center. In back-to-back IMAX® theaters, you'll feel the thrill of space exploration on five-story screens as you "float" right alongside NASA Astronauts. On guided tours into exclusive areas, you'll get a behind-the-scenes look at Kennedy Space Center's working space flight facilities. Strap in and experience interactive space flight simulators at the Astronaut Hall of Fame. Touch a real piece of Mars, see gigantic rockets, board the Space Shuttle Explorer and much more. Wild Florida Airboat Ride + Master Class Series Wild Florida is a feast for the eyes and soul! Climb aboard an airboat and experience a part of Florida that hasn’t changed much from when early pioneers arrived in covered wagons in the 1800s. Catch a glimpse of alligators, eagles, turkeys, wild boars, roseate spoonbills, and other native creatures. Stroll through the Wildlife Park where you can see lemurs, sloths, zebras, and other animals native to South America, Africa, and Australia. Want to take a trip back in time to one of the first cattle operations in Central Florida? Hop aboard the Ranch Buggy Tour for a look at a working cattle operation that can trace its roots to the 1850s. Choose from 4 Master Class tours: Animal Careers Workshop – Discover more about animal related careers and get to know some of the animals up close. Includes an introduction to animal careers, an animal encounter, a Zoo tour including a behind-the-scenes component, and an animal enrichment or husbandry experience. Wetlands Connections Science Safari – This program is perfect for students to learn the importance of wetlands and how they support a wide diversity of life. While here, students will participate in an experiment, go on a mini-scavenger hunt, and meet an animal ambassador. Zoomazing Race – Boost teamwork and morale among your group as members race across the zoo to solve clues, searching for answers and competing in team mini-challenges. Inside Look Tour – Take a sneak peek behind-the-scenes as you glimpse into the inner workings of a zoo. During this program your groups will visit the zoo’s commissary where the animals’ diets are made, tour the world-class manatee hospital, and have an up-close animal interaction. Snorkel with the Manatees Captain Gene and his crew provide quality manatee experiences and deliver incredible adventure in a fun, interesting and safe day. Captain Gene, and his team simply love introducing this experience to our school groups, designed to educate students about wildlife and the habitats of the manatee. We’ll swim alongside these gentle giants and get to experience them in their natural habitat where they feel comfortable interacting with visitors. Our captain will equip us with wetsuits, masks, and snorkels and we’ll set off for a first-hand look at these magnificent creatures.

Anna Maria Island / Sarasota Activity Options Group staying on Anna Maria Island lodge at the Silver Surf Gulf Beach Resort – The Silver Surf features 50 “laid back” Florida-style units. Each unit includes one queen or king bed with a pull-out queen sofa sleeper to sleep up to 4 pupils. Units are equipped with mini-kitchens and have a microwave a small refrigerator and coffee pot. The hotel is located directly across the street from a beautiful beach on Anna Maria Island where scooter, bicycles, wave runners and boat rentals are available. The hotel has a heated pool and offers complimentary use of beach chairs and umbrellas. For life-guarded beaches, students may hop on the free public trolley to access the island’s great recreational areas. Meals are taken at a local restaurant, on the beach, within easy walking distance. Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium A place to learn about the sea, Mote Marine is ‘the place’ for future marine biologists! Mote is a renowned scientific laboratory which is open to the public to spur the learning and understanding of our marine life. With seven specialized research centers, your students will walk away with a love for the sea and the life within. Groups will enjoy a hands-on day with a classroom, a laboratory and a field research program coupled with a trip to the aquarium. Lunch is available for purchase on-site.

Around the Bend Birding – Coastal birds like pelicans, cranes, herons, wild parrots, pipers, hawks, vultures, seagulls and crows all share Anna Maria Island with its human inhabitants. The entire island is a bird sanctuary so our feathered friends flock to the beach! Around the Bend tours teach the real Florida story to your pupils. Guides are professionally certified Master Naturalists through the University of Florida or Interpretive Guides with the National Association of Interpretation. Their mission is to teach the science of sustainability while encouraging an appreciation of history and conservations of Florida’s wild lands.

Sea Kayak Ecology Tour Experience one of the most abundant ecosystems on the planet. Only coral reefs and tropical rainforests boast a higher density and diversity of life than here in the mangrove estuary of Sarasota and Tampa Bay. After a full safety briefing, climb in and paddle the Florida waterways in one or two-person kayaks. Guided by an ecologist, we’ll explore the shallow waters finding amazing sea creatures to stunning mangroves. In addition to the birds, fish, manatees, and dolphins we hope to find, we will also look for enormous live conchs, colorful sea sponges, delicate sea stars, even wild critters like sea cucumbers and sea hares! You'll be amazed at just how much is out there.

South Florida Museum & Bishop Planetarium As the largest natural and cultural history museum on Florida's Gulf Coast, the South Florida Museum offers engaging exhibits as well as educational programs that interpret the scientific and cultural knowledge of Florida, the world and our universe. In addition to permanent exhibits, the Museum features a constantly changing line-up of temporary exhibitions -- offering something new to discover with each visit. Featuring fossil evidence of Florida’s earliest marine and mammal inhabitants and archaeological materials representing Paleo-Indian, archaic, and pre-contact cultures, as well as local history and creative exhibitions, visitors of all ages find something to love at the South Florida Museum. The Museum also features an all-digital Planetarium and a Manatee Rehabilitation Aquarium. At the South Florida Museum, you can learn about the world around you – land, sky, and sea – through the lens of Florida’s natural sciences.

Miami / Florida Keys Activity Options Miami City Sightseeing A 2-hour Miami tour of all the greatest sights and neighborhoods. Cruise down bustling Ocean Drive, the major thoroughfare in South Beach; drive by the Villa Casa Casuarina, aka the Versace Mansion, the famous Art Deco District and much more. Biscayne Bay & Millionaire’s Row Cruise Breathtaking sights await you as we pass through some of Miami’s most elite residential areas while sailing in the sunshine. Enjoy the sea breezes while taking in the oceanfront architectural wonders housing some of the world’s most famous actors, socialites, businessmen and artists throughout the century. Allow the crystalline waters of Biscayne Bay and downtown Miami’s iconic skyline to transport you to a new world. Soft drinks, beer, wine, cocktails and snacks are available for purchase on board. Pigeon Key Marine Sanctuary This stunning program is very hard to get into but if you can get into it, it is absolutely amazing. Enquire early and ask us for details on a 3-night or longer stay. Situated just off Marathon Key on a private island, Pigeon Key is an amazing master class-based action-filled program. From biology workshops to snorkeling and every type of marine science under the sun, you will love this experience!

Miami SeaQuarium with Penguin Encounter Learn about African penguins at Penguin Isle and immerse yourself with a hands-on penguin encounter. Providing a unique interaction with one of the world’s most beloved birds, you can experience them in an intimate setting. You’ll have the opportunity to meet and interact with a penguin one-on-one. Afterwards, enjoy free time at the SeaQuarium. Other possibilities include dolphin and sea lion encounters.

Monkey Jungle Explorers on this special adventure are immersed in a 5-acre natural habitat filled with monkeys. Your Jungle Guide brings to life the wonders of the Rainforest and its amazing creatures. Experience up close encounters with a troop of squirrel monkeys or the greeting from a capuchin monkey. Includes admission to Monkey Jungle, monkey food for personal feeding & continuous shows. Zoo Miami with ‘Immersion Education’ Master Class Enrich the lives of the zoo animals by building objects and enrichments that bring out their natural instincts. You then get to observe the animals showing off their predatory, foraging, and other behaviors as they interact with your objects. Includes Zoo admission, keeper talks, up-close animal encounters, monorail all-day pass, tram tour, lunch and a 2.5-hour zoology master class. Little Havana - Cuban History & Culture Walking Tour This tour goes beyond the surface and delves into the political, religious and social customs with significant influence and transformation of a major city. You’ll tour through one of Miami's oldest neighborhoods where waves of Cuban refugees change the landscape every decade. This cultural tour winds you through a humble but lively neighborhood, a kaleidoscope of culture, traditional customs, and vivid colors. Everglades Alligator Farm & Airboat Ride At South Florida’s oldest alligator farm, the farm contains more than 2,000 alligators. Your trip includes an exciting airboat tour, alligator show, snake show, and an alligator feeding demonstration.

Snorkeling Excursion by Boat at John Pennekamp State Park Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, and the adjacent Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary, cover approximately 178 nautical square miles of coral reefs, seagrass beds and mangrove swamps. The park contains a wide variety of tropical vegetation, shore birds and marine life. While the mangrove swamps and tropical hammocks offer visitors a unique and interesting experience, it is the coral formations and

associated marine life that most park visitors come to enjoy. The coral reef at John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park are among the most beautiful and diverse of all living communities. Your excursion includes park admission, boat to the coral reef, all snorkel gear plus approximately 2-hours of snorkeling. Your park admission includes access to gift shop, snack bar on premises (purchases at extra cost), bath house and shower facilities, plus a 30,000-gallon aquarium and visitor’s center with films and lectures on local ecology and wildlife. Adult to student ratio must meet/exceed 1:5 for students under the age of 18.

Dolphins Plus Bring your students to this fabulous educational facility to learn about marine mammal anatomy, biology, behavior, intelligence, communication, and conservation. Dolphins Plus is committed to protection of marine mammals worldwide through education, research, experiential learning, and environmental awareness. The Dolphins Plus facility is located on a canal, adjacent to the Atlantic Ocean, thus creating natural seawater homes for their Atlantic bottlenose dolphins and California sea lions. Some topics of study include: dolphin intelligence and communication, marine mammal care, dolphin reproduction and maternity, introduction to marine mammals, dolphin anatomy and physiology, dolphin identification and personalities, behavioral analysis/training games, marine mammal conservation and marine mammal strandings. Additionally, a swim-with-the-dolphins program may be added on at extra cost.

Florida Keys Wild Bird Rehabilitation Center Master Class Working to increase awareness of native and migratory bird species as well as their needs, biology, and care, the team hopes that participants develop a greater biological understanding of birds, creating a deeper personal connection with nature. It’s no secret that the Florida Keys are known for rare and unique species of birds year-round. This center is situated on the Florida Bay, very close to the Everglades National Park, where almost 400 native and migratory species can be found each year. Facilitated by resident wildlife biologists, students tour the Laura Quinn Wild Bird Sanctuary where they visit the exhibits on the wetlands property. Coral Reef Restoration Foundation Field Trip The Coral Reef Restoration Foundation takes an upbeat look at a downbeat topic - coral reefs. Home to 25% of all marine species, coral reefs protect the coastlines of more than 100 countries and provide 500 million people with jobs. They are also taking a huge hit from climate change, ocean acidification, and other pressures, but there is hope! Ground-breaking work is being done with accelerating coral growth in the lab, creating nurseries in the ocean, and replanting back to the reefs is nothing less than fantastic. The CRRF’s efforts create hope for the future of sustainable coral reefs around the globe. Find out more about the work being done in this field trip visit.

Turtle Hospital Tour – Rescue, Rehab & Release The Turtle Hospital is located on Marathon Key and is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the rehabilitation of endangered sea turtles. Guests are invited to take a guided educational tour of the hospital facilities and the sea turtle rehabilitation area. This educational experience lasts approximately 90-minutes and provides a presentation on sea turtles as well as a behind-the-scenes look at the hospital facilities and rehabilitation area. At the end of each program, guests are invited to feed the permanent residents.
