K-Family Visions: Kiwanis Objects: 1. To give primacy to the human and spiritual rather than to the material material values of life. 2. To encourage the daily living of the Golden Rule in all human relationships. 3. To promote the adoption and the application of higher social, business and professional standards. 4. To develop, by precept & example, a more intelligent, aggressive, and serviceable citizenship. 5. To provide, through Kiwanis clubs, a practical means to form enduring friendships, to render altruistic service, and to build better communication. 6. To cooperate in creating and maintaining that sound public opinion and high idealism which make possible the increase of righteousness, justice, patriotism, and goodwill. Aktion Club, Builders Club and K-Kids share this vision: - To develop competent, capable, caring leaders through the vehicle of service. Key Club vision: - We are caring and competent servant leaders transforming communities worldwide. Circle K - To be the leading global community-service organization on college and university campuses that enriches the world one member, one child and one community at a time. Branches of the K-Family Kiwanis: Service organization for adults who aim to serve the children of the world and the community. Kiwanis also sponsors the other branches of the K-Family. Aktion Club: Service organization that provides disabled adults the opportunity to provide initiative and leadership skills. Circle K: The largest collegiate service organization worldwide. CKI focuses on its three tenets- service leadership and fellowship. Members follow the motto, “live to service, love to serve.” Lastly, NYCKI is the 3 rd largest district! Branches of the K-Family (cont.) Key Club: An international, student-led organization for high school aged individuals that provides opportunities to provide service build character and develop leadership. Builders Club The largest student- led middle school community service organ- ization that operates under school regulations. Members learn to work together and develop into servant-leader skills as they serve their communities and school. K-Kids A worldwide service organization for young leaders in elementary schools. They're taking on responsibilities and are growing as leaders, changing the world and themselves along the way.
