As such, we are starting to be a month ahead with the bulletin calendar as we use bulk mail to send this, things are not always as quick as we would like them to be. Remember, you can always get the newest bulletin, our menu, and a list of events on our website at trentonelks105.org and this data is the most up to date as well. Membership recruitment is what will grow our lodge and is a big focus from Grand Lodge as well. We have now started a monthly initiation process and going forward we will be committed to bring in all new members within 30 days as Grand Lodge has now requested from us. We have done good to date, again in September we brought in 2 new members and have 3 more ready for October at the printing of this newsletter. Congratulations to Tom Tully our Recruiter of the Month for October! We are working on getting a parking spot for our Top Recruiter of the Month—So keep that in mind and bring in your friends. Coming October we have our photo shoot, Ocktoberfest and of course Halloween. In November we will be having our Vets dinner and also another Sip and Paint on Nov 11 and our ever popular Craft Beer Exchange. Please come out and support your lodge. My Elk of the Month for September is one of our Dynamic Duos here at the 105, Joan and Lou Siwy. I couldn't figure out how to honor one without the other, because the 2 of them put in countless hours for us, Joan has taken on the task of extra happy hours, Lou runs the bar, helped plan the seafood fest, even got in the dunk tank! And all of this above their jobs as officers. They are living and breathing examples of Elkdom and this is why they are my Elks of the Month for October. As you can see there are still good things happening around our lodge, so don't be a stranger. Come on down and see for yourself. You won't be sorry. Remember, this is your Lodge, so come in and enjoy all we have to offer. The House Committee needs your support to continue with all the functions they have planned. See you at the Elks!
