I’m looking forward to a time of inspiration and reflection through keynote messages, workshops, discussions, networking, worship, and of course fun; that will strengthen and inspire me in my role as principal and teacher at TCS. This year Andy Crouch will be the keynote speaker. Andy is a well-established author of such books as “Playing God: Redeeming the Gift of Power” and “Culture Making and Culture Making: Recovering our Creative Calling” and is an enthusiastic and highly sought after speaker. Mr. Crouch is also the executive editor for Christianity Today. May God bless us ALL with a safe and wonderful week. TCS “FLAMES” SPORTS: Upcoming Sports Dates: Cross Country Meet – September 27 (rain date the 28th) at Hannah Park District Date – October 4 Junior Soccer Tournament – October 6 (rain date the 7th) at Centennial Park Intermediate Soccer Tournament – October 5 – Centennial Park District Date – October 12 Boys Soccer: Be sure to bring cleats and shin pads to school on Tuesday and Thursday, this week if you are able. We will have practices both days at lunch time. Cross-Country: Hot Dog Day—We will have a hot dog lunch on Wednesday. We are excited to start auditions and rehearsals this week. Our goal is to have the musical ready for the Anniversary weekend in February. This will be a community project with many people coming together to make it a fun presentation. We need artists, musicians, seam- stresses, and people on the look-out for Jungle costumes.
