In Barcelona, the capital of the autonomous community of Catalonia, be prepared to speak proper Catalan and not Spanish; one will be more respected if so. Freddie Mercury and a native to Barcelona, Dame Montserrat Caballé, wrote the song Barcelona , the lyr ics of which say: ‘Barcelona, such a beautiful horizon. Barcelona, l ike a jewel in the sun. ’
The city ’s architectural and geographical r ichness is referenced in the song’s lyr ics. Today, creative col laborations are teeming through Barcelona with designers unit ing together. The cool Palo Alto market, compel l ing design and a oneness with the natural , is leading certain brands to create products directly from nature. Choosing raw materials for product design is a worldwide trend, and something of a phenomenon in the Catalan capital .
This vibrant and beautiful city is an important cultural centre, a major tourist destination and is part icularly renowned for the architectural works of Antoni Gaudí and Lluís Domènech i Montaner. I ts inf luence in fashion, design and the arts al l contribute to its status as one of the world ’s major global cit ies. Barcelona today is straight up – with a twist of rapture in the air .

Coordonné presents Random Papers vol.II , a new edition
of a mural collection in two qualities of wall covering: Non-
Woven and Vinyl. The collection has 126 designs grouped
in seven categories.
Random Papers obsesses over subject matter such
as a derelict wall, relishing its textures and tones and
creating a replica wall cladding that actually looks possible
to climb. Such claddings can create interiors filled with
light, fun and focal interest, so Random Papers offers the
excitement of a random love of design, whether interior
or graphic.
Coordonné also presents a new collection in
collaboration with Ines de la Fressange, one of the most
famous models in the world and a muse of note. Now
regarded as a French icon, she is also a designer, writer
and art director for her own brand. Ines de la Fressange is
an epitome of French savoir-faire combined with Parisian
chic. Her collection is elegant, feminine and delicate and
predominantly features three-coloured strokes – mustard,
olive and crimson – shades reminiscent of the effortless
chic, and honest, uncomplicated, bohemian bliss emanating
from her personal realm in the French Capital.
