bRoccoLiBroccoli is a plant in the cabbage family, whose large flower head is used as a vegetable.

It was first introduced to the United States by Italian immigrants but did not become widely known until the 1920s.

Broccoli is high in vitamin C which is good for the growth and repairing of tissues of your body. It also contains multiple nutrients such as Vitamin A that help reduce the risks of having cancer.

Broccoli has as much calcium ounce per ounce as milk.

This veggie is usually boiled or steamed, but may be eaten raw as well. However boiling it will greatly reduce its food value.
