Exploitation

According to the activities of mapping and testing environmental education and recycling in the project the Consortium decided to promote, as exploitation of results, 2 possible Workplan referred to:

1. Recycling/Re-using Workshops

1. WHERE:

– School

– Cultural and social centres

– Adult education centres

– Non formal education centres

2. WHY

• To understand what is recycling

• To find new ways to use material

• To create artistic objects reusing materials

3. HOW:

• first step: identification of material (plastic, paper, glass etc)

• Second step: finalization of the activity (realize objects, organize an event etc.)

• Third step: collecting materials

• Forth step: workshop

• Fifth step: final presentation

• Training trainees on material, its properties, processing means, machines, possibility of reuse

Environmental Training Programme

• It can involve different stakeholders (associations, municipalities, private companies etc.)

• It can propose different and engaging environmental training ‘modalities’

The workplan

Various activities around a theme (Ex: WATER):

• Training for teachers (5 dates)

• Didactic Exibition H2ORA (10 days for 3 mounths)

• 5 Workshop on water and relative aspects

• Theatral show

1. Training for trainers

The lesson, lasting 4 hours, provide for the distribution of educational materials, the projection of slides and the preview of the panels of the exhibition.

These are the issues addressed: -presentation of didactical panels; -properties of water with pH calculation and analysis of the indices that tell health water; -rivers and lakes of the region; -calculation of the IBE (experiments on nitrates and nitrites; vision microscope of some freshwater invertebrates); -history and characteristics of the regional Aqueduct; -labels of mineral waters.

2. The exibition • The topics discussed during the various moments and summarized

in the content of the different panels can be: 1.Water in the world's languages 2. water cycle 3. Physico-chemical properties of water 4. Biodiversity of aquatic environments (lake, river, sea, cave) 5. The water is not there. The karst formations in the region. 6. Water pollution. Monitoring of the water sweet. 7. The most dangerous species in the sea 8. The water in the history of man. 9. The water and its uses. Water to carry, hold, store. 10. Water from lead. 11. Water conflicts. Water right or need. 12. Living things are made of water. Water and human body. 13. Virtual water. Water footprint. 14. Water and water: mineral and tap. Waste daily.

On the basis of an history which narrates the problematics of sea, the pollution, the fishes’

life anf give us a message of hope for the future.

WHAT Online video game with non

formal and informal learning activities

• Use new technology in

education can improve the education system, bringing the digital revolution in education systems: in fact, digital technologies allow everyone to study anywhere and anytime, with any device, without external support .

WHY • The Video Game will be a virtual city

that the young people have to live and create in the true sense of the term.

• In essence, they will have to manage waste collection, recycling, reuse in a virtual town.

• Considering non formal and informal learning methods, with online and media activities, the Video Game is comprised of multiple modules and units aiming at providing the acquisition or enhancement of the anticipated competences.
