European Health Insurance Card BE RESPONSIBLE FOLLOW THE RULES STAY IN TOUCH Check that your passport is valid for the duration of your stay in France. Scan a copy of it and email it to yourself and a family member at home. Get a new Passport Card at dfa.ie/passport. This is valid for travel within Europe and can fit in your wallet, allowing you to leave your passport in a safe place. Make sure you have your European Health Insurance Card.
