Het moment was eindelijk daar!
Leden van het Koninklijk Huis hebben tot nu toe elf schepen van Holland America Line gedoopt. En daar is het nieuwe paradepaard van HAL er één van. Koningin Maxima heeft vrijdag de Koningsdam in Rotterdam gedoopt.

Cyprus, in de ban van expeditie
Het Cyprus Verkeersbureau nodigde in totaal 40 reisagenten uit om deel te nemen aan Expeditie Cyprus. In kleine groepjes per huurauto verkenden zij het zonnige eiland. Creativiteit en kennis zijn doorslaggevend geweest en de strijd was spannend tot op de laatste dag.

Procedures
We charge a CPM (cost per 1.000 banner views) rate, so you’re sure that you get the amount of banner views that you pay for. First the position and campaign size should be determined. Then we include the position of your choice, and the amount of positions that you buy in our banner management system. The banner will then be shown exactly the amount of times that we agree, in the agreed period. When the campaign is finished, we’ll inform you about the specifics of the campaign, including the click through rate.
For our banner advertisement campaigns we use the services of OpenX. While this system also monitors our campaign statistics, you are 100% sure that you will get the exact amount of agreed expo-sure.

These are some of the activities of the new Reis Management Club (trans-lated: Travel Management Club). For over 30 years Reis Management Club has been the podium for travel professionals to meet and exchange knowledge and experiences, as powered by TravMagazine all those years. Through these years some 1,400 travel managers have joined in the RMC, a household name in the travel trade in The Netherlands. RMC focuses on the management of all travel companies. These include directors / owners of tour operators and retail companies, managers, product managers, sales special-ists, affiliate managers, but also ambitious employees. This RMC addresses a broad audience interested in the whole travel industry.
The objective of the RMC is to contribute to the continuous quality and professionalism in the travel industry. The RMC is the ideal platform for a company to present itself as a major supplier.
Many trade colleagues know the RMC particularly for successful meetings and symposia, which invariably take place at the end of an afternoon. For the coming year six of these meetings are planned. Integral part of these meetings are presentations on current topics with relevant expert speakers (both inside and outside the industry) and with plenty of room for discussion and question by attendees. An RMC-meeting always is concluded with a networking reception. The meetings are attended by 50 to some 200 visitors, depending on subject, location and availability. Challenges
On request we will select a group of top buyers (all decision makers from the largest incentive houses, event and congress organizations as well as business travel agencies) from the Dutch MICE industry to invite them for a mini congress at a MICE destination of interest.
During a 3-4 day project we will set up an official program with different speakers, lectures on destinations and an information exchange between business professionals. Around this official program we will arrange a MICE program in order to discover the best destination.
Fam trips
M!CE Travel can assist you in the organization of a study trip. In cooperation with your company we will set up an interesting program and a list of participants with potential interest for your destination. During the Fam trip we will guide the group and will write a destination report in the next edition of M!CE Travel magazine..

Election Travel Company of the YearFor many years the Election of the Travel Agency of the Year is a recognized election to reward good travel agencies with a provincial or even a national title. The election consists of a few rounds, in which the travel agency will be pushed to look critical to the management. After a few rounds the provincial winner will be announced. The provincial winners will battle for the esteemed national title. The winner will be revealed at a festival gala.

During the Travel gala the complete Dutch travel industry shows appearance. There are OTA’s, tour oper-ators, travel agents, airlines, tourist offices, travel technology providers, ZRA’s and e-commerce players.
One of the highlights of the evening is the presentation of the Dutch vacation awards. The award for the best travel provider will be decided by their consumers in 17 categories by giving reviews and a mark.
Besides that the travel manager of the year and the best travel agent of the Netherlands will be announced. To decide the best travel agent of the Netherlands a different selection method will be employed as well as an independent jury.
Furthermore, at the awards there is the feather election (B2B), where the feathers will be announced on the travel gala. The winners of the feathers are selected by (independent) travel advisors and online travel agents. Ask for the sponsorship possibilities.

The platform for every independent travel agent in the Netherlands. A Battle will take place for the title of the best independent travel agent, but also endless creative pos-sibilities to lift your company up to a higher level.
