“ I remember running, then I heardthe sound of the plane firing.

I don’t remember hearing the plane coming at all.I just remember the sound of the bullets.

Next thing I know I’m twitching on the ground.. I thought for a second that I might have been hit.

I didn’t dare move. I think I even stopped breathingbut I know that’s not possible.

Nothing.… just nothing. It seemed like forever.
