At Transformers we love to create Couture Costume Characters

that guests can’t resist posing with. Always relevant and truly

shareworthy, they are worth their weight in gold. We can also

provide a photographer with a wireless camera to upload

hashtagged images directly to Instagram.

Introduct ion

Original Creat ionsCollaborating with the world’s finest creative talent, transformers-in-chief Danielle

Nay has been producing headline-grabbing, share-worthy costume characters since

1996. Transformers is proud to offer a unique array of imaginatively-themed couture

acts to provide talking points at events in the Middle East. These are available as

strolling acts or living tables.

Amongst our innovations are Arabesque Lantern, Palme d’Or, Lord & Lady Steampunk,

Venetian Chandeliers and Rosetta Red Carpet. We also have an edible collection -

Eye Candy – and a sports-themed portfolio, dubbed Trophy Wives.

Our costumes – which can be customised for brands – are created here in the UAE,

where we also cast talent. Makeup and wig/hair styling are critical to the look and

we pride ourselves on our exceedingly high standards, working with and training

some of the region’s finest talent.

AfternoonTease

With the addition of a 3-tiered

mirror & perspex table, our

Gateaux Blaster cupcake lady

transforms into Afternoon

Tease, a strolling table character

ideal for serving cupcakes or

macaroons at weddings, baby

showers and retail events. This

table can also be combined with

other characters: examples

include Material Girl and Venetia.

ArabesqueLanternOur beautiful Arabesque

Human Lantern is the

centrepiece of our UAE

collection, which also

features Firebird, Palme

d’Or and – coming soon –

Desert Rose.

BagatellePerfect for malls and

retail brands, Bagatelle is

an infinitely customisable

costume character with a

crinoline skirt fashioned

from shopping bags.

We can either create

custom-print bags, or use

shopping bags provided

by the client. Additional

frills and pleating can be

incorporated if budget

allows.

Bon Bon is also available

with a mirrored tray or a

black trolley for serving

cupcakes and candy; these

can be decorated with

miniature LED lights, ribbons

and streamers.

Dubai’s 5th Birthday

celebrations, our black &

white sweetie pie wears

a fabulous headpiece

which can be customised

according to the occasion.

Bon Bon

ChandeliersWe created a pair of these wonderful

rococo headpieces (with LED candles)

for a party in Abu Dhabi, where they

were combined with historic Venetian

gowns for a Venice carnival party.

However, the headpieces work equally

well with beaded flapper dresses or

modern evening gowns.

ChocolateBox

Inspired by vintage Godiva, this

delicious character can be static,

roaming or even on roller skates.

Her heart-shaped hat and serving

tray make her lovable all year

around, but Valentine’s – when

she serves heart-shaped edibles

– is her favourite day of the year!

Optional modesty shrug: either

hearts & flowers or whipped

cream with cherries on top!

ChocolateBombshell

A sweet, vintage-striped sister

character to Chocolate Box,

Chocolate Bombe has a fabulous

headpiece and can also be

deployed as a DJ called Choc

& Roll with a pair of old-skool

gramophones.

FairyGodmother

the knee socks. Her

FirebirdOur glamorous falcon-like

Firebird is a great night-

time attractor! With her

twinkling LEDs, crystals

and extravagant plumage,

she adds a mohawk in the

colours of the UAE flag for

National Day and similarly

patriotic occasions.

Frost FayreOriginally created for Fortnum & Mason

Dubai’s festive season in 2014, our

pretty ice princess is ideally suited to

a Frozen or Winter Wonderland theme.

By adding a large white headdress and

beaded shorts. we can also transform

her into an all-white samba character.

GateauxBlaster

Cake themed character with

delicious headpiece and pretty

outfit. Can have single or triple

tray, decorated with lace, to carry

cupcakes, candy or macaroons.

Also available as a DJ character

with vintage gramophone props.

Developed for Ritz

Carlton DIFC Halloween,

our frozen un-dead bride

serves spooky candy from

a cobwebbed bling cart.

How we love our little Paddock

Princess! Always first out of the

stalls at a racing party, Gigi serves

tree-like lollipops or canapes

to your guests from a paddock-

themed tray complete with

racehorses, fencing, shrubbery

and crystals in UAE colours.

Golden Wonder

Created for a beauty launch in Dubai,

Golden Wonder wears a headdress

sculpted entirely from beauty products

including lipsticks, mirror compacts,

palettes, nail polish, eye pencils, hair

brushes, combs, make-up brushes. Her

make-up is always spectacular!

Guinevere Our fantasy medieval princess

Originally a Halloween

character designed to serve

Jelly Snakes candy, she is

now deployed year-round as

Medusa, wearing a beautiful

hand-painted kimono &

dramatic headpiece.

She can also be persuaded to

host a giant games of Snakes &

Ladders for corporate & family

events.

LivingRed Carpet

New for November, performer wears a

gown fashioned from spiralling layers of

red carpet in 3 shades, plus headpiece.

Health & Safety-compliant costume

attaches properly to actual red carpet;

supplied by Transformers if you wish.

lord & LadYSteampunk

Originally created for Bloomingdale’s

Dubai Festival Season launch 2014, Lord

& Lady Steampunk are fantasy sci fi

Victorian characters with beautiful

tailoring, bespoke armour and custom

make-up featuring dramatic contouring

and little metal cogs!

LadYSteampunk

Our lovely Steampunk lady wears a

corset and mini crinoline over striped

knickerboxkers, lace tights and

Steampunk knee-length boots. Her

armour is custom-made by us.

LordSteampunk

Our immaculately tailored and

accessorised Steampunk gentleman

is inspired by the 19th century fiction

of Jules Verne & the recent Sherlock

Holmes movies. He wears a faux leather

coat over a frilled shirt and custom-

made steampunk armour with LED.

MadameMacaronMarie Antoinette in a mini crini, with

an antique crystal bodice panel and

our signature galleon fascinator.

Material Girl

Our 1980’s themed Madonna character

greets guests by vogue-ing and

performing song lyrics “Express

Yourself!: or “Come on, vogue!”. The

lower tray is normally filled with dollar

bills, whilst the upper trays are usually

used for cocktails or champagne.

Our gilded New York

New York characters -

Chrysler Building and Miss

Liberty – wear elaborate

headpieces atop floor

length gold beaded gowns.

They are perfect for a

gold, art déco or Big Apple

theme! We also have New

original beauty in our Arabesque

collection, Palme d’Or is a glamorous

World Cup 2014, World

Cup Winner can be

adapted to any football

or team theme.

We deliver wow factor special ingredients for your corporate, private and public events, to give guests an unforgettable, immersive experience. Transformers launched in 2012 as a specialist event content company, based in Dubai. We customise all of our products in line with brand objectives and around 30% of our work is entirely bespoke. Innovating in the urban art space is a particular speciality.

Transformers’ small team is led by British creative producer and brand entertainment expert Danielle Nay, based in the UAE since 2009, who introduced the Digital Graffiti Wall to the UAE market.
