    VARIABLES

    User can give the inputs at runtime using variables. This variables can either be characteristic or key figures. This may be processed by either of the below mentioned options

    Query name, type and processing type to be described

    Execution of a Query

    To execute a query first select the query which you want to Open query

    Query tab open Info area of the data provider on which query is designed open

    Execute the query by going into the Query tab in menu bar execute

    Execute symbol will be there, just click on it.

    We can also use transactions RSRT or RSRT1 for Query execution.

    SAVING REPORTS, FAVORITES

    Once the query designed needs to saved by using the save symbol in tool bar.

    We should follow the naming convention before saving a query.

    Naming convention for aquery is cube name

    followed with query name

    Most of the cases query will be saved in favorites

    We can also create a new folder in favorites to save the query
