The day began with invoking the blessing of God by Sister Neera followed by the

How to motivate the failure startups
Identifying the failure: We need to identify which area they are lacking.
Check the cycle of Entrepreneurship and then we have to motivate the
failure startups.

After the group formation and work division Ms. Divya explained about the three-
day scheduled. She also assigned a secret friend each of the participants.
Field experience Presentation:
Presentation was done by Sister Helen Rego organization Divya Kripa Seva Kendra
Malakalmuru.
After this Mr. Narayan conducted a small energizer to refresh the mind of all the
trainees. Soon after this there was a tea break.
Innovative Business Ideas by Mr. Jimmy
He helped the participants to understand the difference between Self-
employment and entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurship and Job. Then he
explained about the business Product and Service.
Skill first or Business first?
Ideally an entrepreneur identifies a market opportunity and acquires skills
and do Business
Where a market need is established, it is possible to impart skills along with
developing a job/business attitude.
Skill alone with no business attitude cannot create entrepreneurs.
How to Choose Trades for Skill Training

minimum of resources in a short period of time
How to do the Market study
Method 1:First selection of trades -Short list the proposed trades in the PRA
exercise Seek opinion of people
Method 2:Contact Market with selection of trades
Difference between Job and Entrepreneurship
Profession – way of life
Entrepreneurship –Take risk and take the rewards- Rewards of risk is
called entrepreneurship
Risk means- Learning from somebody, getting inspired, being taught etc.

Qualities of good entrepreneur
He explained that the Entrepreneur should have qualities such as Flexible, Ready
to Network, Curious, Respect for money, Ready to Experiment, Purpose of Market
Study, You cannot make sound business without uderstanding market,
Understand the customers need/want, Develop product/service which gives
customers what they want, Promote the best product /service for customers,
Keep on improving the product .
Benefits of Market Study
After explaining about qualities, he shared what could be the possible benefits of
Market study. Some of the points are as mentioned below:
Understand how well the product or service meets the needs of customers
Determine the best price for the product or service
Select the best way to distribute the product
Create new ways to promote the business
Identify ways to expand the business

How to do Market Study
His final and last session was about how to make a Market study:
Observation
Surveys (interview, social media etc)
Focus Group and product test
SWOT analysis
Inflow outflow
Secret Letter Writing and Sharing: During this session all the participants were
asked to write a letter to each of their Secret friends explaining about their
positive points and areas of improvements. Thereafter the time was given to
share each of the letters.
Feedbacks and evaluation:
Apple group members Rachel, Ajay, Sister Neera and Nicolas asked the members
to give their valuable feedbacks about the day. During the feedbacks the three C
were covered i.e. content, communication and Classroom management. Mostly
everybody was happy with the content and the style of communication however,
encouraged the participants to manage the time which was lacking on the first
day.
Overall the Day 1 was very fruitful and productive the participants could learn
through sharing and facilitation methodology.

Day – II
Prayer: The day began with Pray by Father Suresh who asked for God’s blessing
throughout the day and for the entire EDP Training sessions.
Thereafter, Mr. Nicolas took the time to welcome the remaining participants and
introducing to everyone in the room. Points were also given to Mr Helen for her
presentation on the previous day.
From Team Go Green who were given the task to prepare the report for the day
one Mr. Alex came forward and shared the importance that happened on first
day.
Thereafter the floor was open for the presentation of the participants to share
their field experiences about the EDP training they conducted in their area.
1st Presentation was made by Mr. Himanshu from Gram Vikas Seva Sanstha,
Lucknow. After this points were given to his presentation.
2nd Presentation was done by Sister Neera from Jeevandeep Charitable
Trust
Branch: Sarai Marufpur, Sandila. Points were given to her presentation.
Mr. Mehul began this session by asking the experience, challenges and positive
things the participants happened to face during their EDP Training program in
their respective field. Both positive and negative feedback were received like this
course is really bringing a transformation in the lives of the trainees however,
discussion were made regarding the module to be simplified if possible.
Thereafter he took the session on the Three column Chart as mentioned below:
