Corporate Confession of Sin | Dr. Sam Lamerson Merciful Savior, You are the Lamb slain before the foundation of the world. You rose to become our heavenly Shepherd who guides us to springs of living water. Yet we have settled for our own broken cisterns that can hold no water. Forgive us for our idolatry and unbelief, our lack of thankfulness for Your blessings, our deficient zeal for Your worship, our lack of humility under Your correction, our lazy watchfulness against temptation, and our struggle with discontentment. Go forth and show us Your cross, mighty to subdue, comfort, and save. For we pray in Your matchless name, Amen.

Assurance of Pardon

Ministry of Music | Neil Nelson, soloist Ain't Got Time to Die arr Hall Johnson Lord, I keep so busy praising my Jesus, ain’t got time to die. ‘Cause when I’m healing the sick, I’m praising my Jesus, ain’t got time to die. ‘Cause it takes all of my time to praise my Jesus, If I don’t praise Him, the rocks gonna cry out, “Glory and honor, glory and honor!” Ain’t got time to die! Lord, I keep so busy working for the Kingdom, ain’t got time to die. ‘Cause when I’m feeding the poor, I’m working for the Kingdom, Ain’t got time to die. Lord, I keep so busy serving my Master, ain’t got time to die. ‘Cause when I’m giving my all I’m serving my master, ain’t got time to die. Now, won’t you get out of my way, let me praise my Jesus!

Anthem | Mrs. Wilson, organ The Majesty and Glory of Your Name Bernie González, director Tom Fettke When I gaze into the night skies and see the work of your fingers, The moon and stars suspended in space. O, what is man, that You are mindful of him? You have given man a crown of glory and honor, And have made him a little lower than the angels. You have put him in charge of all creation: The beasts of the field, the birds of the air, the fish of the sea. O Lord, our God, the majesty and glory of Your name Transcends the earth and fills the heavens. O Lord, our God, little children praise You perfectly, and so would we! Alleluia! –Psalm 8

Welcome to in-person and online worship at Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church. We are truly living in uncertain times. However, Jesus says, “Do not let your hearts be troubled.”

How could He say such a thing in the midst of a world full of pain and suffering? Does He have an answer to comfort a troubled heart?

In fact, Jesus gives us the only antidote when He says, “Believe in God; believe also in me.” Jesus is calling us to believe in the One who was dead, but is now alive. If the resurrection is true, He alone has the power to redeem any circumstance. Jesus can work through anything that life has thrown your way. The world’s answer is to believe in yourself. But that doesn’t seem to offer any real hope. On the contrary, Jesus tells us to stop believing in yourself and instead believe in Him. This is real hope in a hopeless world.

So whether you’ve been a Christian for years or you’re exploring who Jesus is, I pray you are encouraged by this good news. Please let me know how Coral Ridge can serve you in the days and weeks ahead!

Forever Hopeful,

Rob Pacienza, Lead Pastor [email protected] | 954.334.5102
