Farmers PerceptionSatisfied working with the Tractors. The main reasons behind it.It saves time for harvesting and cultivation. It also saves labour cost which is high and labours are not timely available.Farmers believe on mechanisation more than manual harvesting and cultivation.

When they are hiring Tractors?Farmers prefer clear and clean cutting, because most of the farmers found weeds other residues crushed into harvesting and cultivation.Farmers more concern about cutting of crops, because most of the time about 5% of crop will miss by the equipment used for cultivation with tractors. Those are near to the bunds of farm will left by combines most of time. Farmer collect it manually and throw it in working combine.Farmers are not concern with brands but they are aware of popular brands, if it will available on time they may prefer iteg: John deer, Standard, Messy perfusion, Mahindra, Preet, Swaraj etc. are most popular and top of mind brands for farmers

Market according to Farmers PerceptionFarmers preferred already established contacts. About 85-90% working is based on already based contact in M.P and Gujrat. In M.P near about 35-40% are working through agents. In Gujrat there is maximum about >60% to70% working by agents.View by farmers-Farmers also prefer quality than rate. Most of the places rates are fixed.Farmers are not concern with technical changes and facilities provided in machine but if a brand will fixed in their mind then there is chance to convert a market from local brands to organised market.Farmers also expect something from machine as mention earlier. They are ready to pay more for quality because they dont want to lose their efforts.

Fig.1 Need of Market Forecast

Chapter I : IntroductionMarket size Forecasting:Market size is influenced by environmental factors such as economic conditions, population, ability to purchase, social trends, technological change, or government legislation. For example, demographic factors such as the size and age distribution of the population, distribution of disposable income, culture, and religious factor.Consulting Business in India:Consulting is a high-paying, high-profile field that offers you the opportunity to take on a large degree of responsibility right out of school and quickly learn a great deal about the business world. It's also a profession that will send you to the far corners of the country-and leave you there for days and weeks on end while you sort out tough questions for a client that's paying your firm millions of dollars. In essence, consultants are hired advisors to corporations. They tackle a wide variety of business problems and provide solutions for their clients. Depending on the size and chosen strategy of the firm, these problems can be as straightforward as researching a new market, as technically challenging as designing and coding a large manufacturing control system, as sensitive as providing outplacement services for the HR department, or as sophisticated as totally rethinking the client's organization and strategy.Management consultants must be skilled at conducting research and analyzing it. Research means collecting raw data from a variety of sources including the client's computers, trade associations in the client's industry, government agencies, and, perhaps most importantly, surveys and market studies that you devise and implement yourself. It also means interviewing people to gather anecdotal information and expert opinion. The interviewees may be anyone, from industry experts to the client's top executives to the client's lowest-level employees. All this data must then be analyzed, using tools from spreadsheets to your own brain. The idea here is to spot behavior patterns, production bottlenecks, market movements and other trends and conditions that affect a client's business.Your ultimate job is to improve the client's business by effecting changes in response to your analysis. That's the hard part, because it involves convincing the client to accept your recommendations, often in Chapter I: Introductionthe face of opposition from client executives who resent outsiders upstaging them with the boss or resistance from company employees who have something to lose from change. To succeed you'll need excellent people skills and the ability to put together a persuasive PowerPoint presentation. Finally, you'll need the ability to handle disappointment if your solution fails or the client decides not to even try implementing it.One good thing about the advice business: Companies always seem to want more. As evidence, the consulting industry has been on a sustained growth binge for well more than a decade. One other thing about the consulting business: The product really is the people, and firms compete on the basis of who's the smartest and the hardest working. As a result, each firm wants to hire the best and the brightest. If you're one of them-you probably know if you are-you'll have a good shot at landing one of these competitive jobs.7 Most important things in this business are1. Communication2. Mental Strength & Winning Attitude3. Extremely high learning curve4. Adaptability5. Networking6. Experience (Diligence + Intelligence + Wisdom = Visionary) 7. Hunger for knowledge

DIFFERENTIAL CASES AND GEAR SYSTEMS16. TOOLS, PARTS AND SERVICE INFO17. WIRING DIAGRAMS & NUMERICAL INDEXESTractor configuration:Tractor consists of 2 front small tyres and 2 rare large tyres. Engine is in the front side of driver. Engine: Internal combustion engines are used as the power engines in this century tractors.Power and hitches: Engine produces power which is transmitted to the equipment to complete the work. This can be performed via a drawbar or hitch system. If the machine has to be towed or pulled via the tractive power of the engine, or via a pulley or power takeoff system if the implement is stationary, or a combination of the two.

Hydraulics and power take off system: Tractors can transfer power to other machines e.g. Mower and baler. Pulley can be used for pulling out water from tube well. New generation tractors use apower take-off (PTO) shaft which provide rotary power to machinery.Pedals:Modern farm tractors usually have four or five foot-pedals for the operator on the floor of the tractor. The pedal on the left is theclutch. The operator presses on this pedal to disengage thetransmissionfor either shifting gears or stopping the tractor. Some modern tractors have (or as optional equipment) a button on the gear stick for controlling the clutch, in addition to the standard pedal. Two of the pedals on the right are thebrakes. The left brake pedal stops the left rear wheel and the right brake pedal does the same with the right side.

Switches and Levers:External hydraulics have lever for operating it. In the three-point hitch lever is used for the controlled adjusting the position, or the function for raising or lowering the hitch.

Chapter V: Findings and Recommendations

Lever Arm Comfort & Easy system of Lever Arm AcceleratorTwo separate accelerator: According to survey of tractors rental players (drivers), they recommend both pedal and hand accelerator.Pedal: It is mainly use while the machine is running on road.Tractor with harvester (Cutter-bar)Cutter should be balanced and heavy: It should be balanced to reduce the losses of grain and the cutting of the crop is in equal size.Automatic cleaning of cutter: After the harvesting process large amount of crop residue remains in the thresher so to this blower should given for cleaning process.Size of cutter and intake of tank should be match (in a proportion): To overcome on grain loss and overloading problem. Fig.5 Lever Arm Fig.6 Cutter Bar Chapter V: Findings and Recommendations Cabin Cabin should be spacious: It makes functioning of the machine easy which is comfortable for the driver.Computerized: It should be displayed distance covered by machine while working.Automation: If Shifting of pulley will automatic then it is better.Main bearings should be in greater size & heavyWheels, tyre, breakPressurized jack only for front tyre or bothFour wheel driveBreak should be for 4-wheel, and for front wheelEngine Engine should be more efficient in heat and dust.Best working engine:- john deer , Leyland Cooling System:- Water coolantEngine should be little bit far from driver otherwise heat resistant material should be used for it.

Chapter V: Findings and Recommendations PowerForeman, driver thought that there is no requirement of max. hp power for tractors. It can be work very well with less power.MiscellaneousParts and body of a machine should be rust resistance.Old machineries of Preet & other companies having same problem.
